I have pretty much gotten an answer for everythign except the rain sensing wipers. If I were to tint the front windshield, like I have done on all my previous cars after a bad encounter (this is for personal safety reasons, relating to my job from a prior experience, wont get into it here though) what area is the rain sensing wiper apparatus in? I know some cars is behind the rearview mirror but I want to know if there is an area specifically i shouldnt cover. If it's like other cars, near the rearview mirror it might be located with the camera (used for the lane keeping system, and other features) which is on the windshield directly in front and above of the rear view mirror. I'm not sure if you would want to tint the camera area on the windshield, whether or not the rains sensing wiper sensor is located there. In Oregon I think it’s illegal to tint the front windshield, I don’t think I have ever seen a car that did have one tinted. I assume you are talking about the whole piece of glass, not just a sun visor strip. Back on subject, I agree with Steve, just avoid the area with the sensor and it should be fine. Also don’t forget about the auto light sensor that controls interior lighting setting between day/night. Also don’t forget about the auto light sensor that controls interior lighting setting between day/night. yea i am a police officer and had a bad encounter with someone who saw me in my car and it turned pretty ugly so now i tint ALL windows in my car. It makes it harder to drive at night but now im used to it, i dont fly around anyway so it should be ok. is the day/night sensor in the same spot?
