New SYNC Version? (DA5T-14D544-BD Gen2 - V3.6.2)

I suspect that the SYNC Website is reporting the WRONG version for each user. This happened last December and it took them TWO weeks to fix the problem.

If you check your actual vehicle MyTouch screen under Settings(two gears), Help, System Info, CCPU - The latest version should show 4.30.13171_Product which is the SYNC V3.6.2.

 

The other day when I happened to check the Sync site it indicated my version was V3.6.2 and today it shows V3.5.1 the older version.

 

Maybe the FordIVTteam can investigate this situation...

Hey Steve, 

 

V3.6.2 was released in August. You can follow the instructions that Bills_Fusion_Energi provided in order to verify whether or not it has been installed. 

I've escalated this concern and have received confirmation that our tech support team members are working on releasing a fix. I've requested an expected resolution date and plan to update this forum once I've received that information. 

 

Yes the site has reverted to show many vehicles having the old 3.5.1 version, when in fact they were updated to 3.6.2 starting last August... I (and several others) have a case number for the IVT team to investigate and fix it, so hopefully it will be resolved soon.

 

I didn't realize you were on both forums. I had to do a double-take. :) Thanks for filling everyone in.

Interestingly syncmyride states there is a new update out there. It shows  DA5T-14D544-BD Gen2 - V3.6.2 as the download. However, when you download, it downloads version V3.6.1. I. The site also shows me as having V3.6.1 installed. Ford needs to get it together and make sure the site is working and update to date. Very frustrating.

I haven't heard of it showing V3.6.1 instead of V3.6.2. Thank you for sharing. Do you mind sending me a PM with your VIN? Is anyone else noticing this?

SYNC Website is NOW reporting the CORRECT version...
 
It only took them 10 days to fix it this time ! ! ! 

 

 

Good eye, Bills_Fussion_Energi. As of late last night, the software version should now be correct on: www.Support.Ford.com again. 

 

 

Just a heads-up to everyone else, 

 

Some users may receive an error message when logging in. The message reads "We're sorry. We experienced a system error while processing your request.". This issue has just been reported and our tech support team is working on getting this resolved as soon as possible.
