chancelperry Posted January 30, 2014 at 11:53 PM Author Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 at 11:53 PM Will do! And I will post pictures. I chose a LRR tire and I am only going up 1 inch in diameter so I am hoping there is not a significant change.

Russael Posted February 1, 2014 at 02:35 PM Report Share Posted February 1, 2014 at 02:35 PM Interesting that while in the box, they look gray, but on the car, they appear black. Aside from that, I do like dark or black rims on a white car. I think it makes a nice contrast. I wanted those H style 19" rims, but there were no wheel options. I'm still OK with the factory ones since they're unique enough. They're just annoying to clean since they're clearcoated.

CT3113 Posted February 12, 2014 at 04:28 AM Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 at 04:28 AM Looks good! I was planning on doing the same thing. How is the fender clearance? I know some cars look like the need to be lowered once you increase rim size +1 or +2".

chancelperry Posted April 13, 2014 at 08:04 PM Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2014 at 08:04 PM Have you lowered the car yet? No, not yet. Working on getting a house so all mods are put on hold. This guy did though! Hes got 20in TSWs and lowered on Eibach's.http://2gfusions.com/index.php/topic,3367.0.html

chancelperry Posted April 13, 2014 at 10:16 PM Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2014 at 10:16 PM Just read all the posts.. Idk, I called a guy at cD3performance and he recommended the H&R's for the AWD model because those are designed to handle more weight compared to Steeda and Eibach. I know a couple of hybrid owners on 2gfusions have the H&Rs and there is no difference in ride quality.
vett93 Posted April 13, 2014 at 11:36 PM Report Share Posted April 13, 2014 at 11:36 PM Fusion Hybrid and Fusion 2.0 Ecoboost AWD have similar weights. Our Fusion Energi cars have 300lbs more weight... I called Eibach, H&R, and Steeda. They all told me no.... Platinum15Ti
jdhl Posted May 11, 2014 at 06:40 AM Report Share Posted May 11, 2014 at 06:40 AM What size tires did you install?Does the 40mm offset along with the tire width sit completely within the fender/wheel well?

It will be perfect once I get around to lowering it. Ride quality has not changed from 17s to 18s. The size tires I installed are 255/45/R18. DTSkyCop Posted May 21, 2014 at 04:41 AM Report Share Posted May 21, 2014 at 04:41 AM I just found this thread this evening as I have been reading a lot in this forum. I really like these rims and how they look on your car. That was my one area of this vehicle I hated... The wheels. I think they could have done a lot better in the design... 2015's have a 10 spoke 17" wheel that is similar to the 19" H spoke available on the regular Titanium Fusions. I am not sure why Ford took the lazy way out and figured people in all levels of the Hybrids would be happy with one rim choice. I really like this wheel though... Looks incredible! Did you have to buy New Tire Sensors for the wheels to register the Tire Pressure Sensors..?? If you don't mind me asking, how much was one wheel with the tire you chose... Or how much were they all if easier..? I had checked with my parts department today actually as I was looking to buy the 19" H-Spoke for my Energi because I hate the wheels on there and got a price for the rims only of $1,800.00 employee cost. There is a $50.00 core charge apparently for (4) rims to be returned back to Ford as well. That price does not include the Tire Pressure Sensors he said he thought were around $75.00 a piece. It definitely did not include tires either... WOW! Wasn't planning on that... lol Are you lowering your car as a preference or necessity for these wheels..?? Just curious. I don't want to get into all that but definitely like the "Upgrade" on my wheels for sure!
CT3113 Posted June 22, 2014 at 04:04 AM Report Share Posted June 22, 2014 at 04:04 AM You ever get around to lowering your car Chance? I finally pulled the trigger on wheels, and ordered 18" Niche Targa Anthrecite (M129) wheels. Am really curious to see how the car looks lowered. Now the hard part...waiting for the wheels to be delivered!
CT3113 Posted July 15, 2014 at 04:41 AM Report Share Posted July 15, 2014 at 04:41 AM Vendor sent me the wrong bolt pattern... Had to re-order and looks like I'll be on M130's too. The M129s were on back order.
Ruan DeWet Brits Posted August 10, 2014 at 03:49 AM Report Share Posted August 10, 2014 at 03:49 AM Was wondering if you saw any problems in the Energi after changing the wheel size. I had my wheel changed when I got my car and the dealership had me sign a bunch of waivers recommending me not to do it.
