Jack Posted January 28, 2014 at 07:41 AM Report Share Posted January 28, 2014 at 07:41 AM How do I get photos added to my contacts in the MFT contact list? I have photos on some of my contacts on my iPhone 5S but they don't show up on the MFT.
Gigi Posted January 28, 2014 at 01:21 PM Report Share Posted January 28, 2014 at 01:21 PM I have a Samsung. Mine do show up. Did you pair with MFT before or after you added the contact photos? If you added the photos after pairing, disconnecting the phone, pairing again, and downloading the contact info to MFT again might do it. FordIVTteam Posted January 28, 2014 at 09:03 PM Report Share Posted January 28, 2014 at 09:03 PM Hi Jack and GiGi, To see which devices support this feature, click the PHOTO ID box on the left of this compatibility chart: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/device-compatibility-sync-myford-touch Unfortunately, the iPhones that we've tested do not support this feature. mmmhmmmm Posted January 29, 2014 at 01:33 AM Report Share Posted January 29, 2014 at 01:33 AM Ah this is due to Apple's implementation of contact publishing via bluetooth. Fear not Apple fans! The Cupertino wizards are supposed to be beefing up bluetooth capabilities. It won't be long I bet before this works with iphones

meyersnole Posted January 31, 2014 at 09:11 PM Report Share Posted January 31, 2014 at 09:11 PM (edited) Just noticed that there were multiple firmwares for some of these phones tested. So if you are having issues getting some thing to work, maybe you just need to update your phone. Hi Fjmoricca, Unfortunately, this is the most up-to-date compatibility chart that I am able to offer. I can't speculate on when iOS 7 will officially be added to this list.
