bobnfloyd Posted February 11, 2014 at 04:13 PM Report Share Posted February 11, 2014 at 04:13 PM I really like the driving mechanics of this car, mechanical build quality is very good. The software interfaces seem to all be mostly useful, but sometimes frustrating. The fact that I can't get the My Ford Mobile to work after 2.5 weeks really does say something about what I should expect from future software updates on both the car and it's interfaces... basically slower, less responsive, and very little reaction to customer issues. tangozulu Posted February 23, 2014 at 08:04 PM Report Share Posted February 23, 2014 at 08:04 PM I commute 15 miles each way, from 800 feet msl to sea level then back again. I only charge at night No reliability issues on any of the systems so far at 4500 miles. Keith
mmmhmmmm Posted February 23, 2014 at 08:28 PM Report Share Posted February 23, 2014 at 08:28 PM I'm going with...undecided!! We had a few days of warmer weather and I've been very pleasantly surprised that the battery lasts much longer in warmer weather. The fuel economy has jumped to ~65mpg. That's nearly 30mpg more than my 'gas-guzzling' Harley! This coupled with the fact that I figured out how to disconnect the Cabin Water Heater has boosted my opinion of the car! Energized Posted February 23, 2014 at 10:58 PM Report Share Posted February 23, 2014 at 10:58 PM The easiest way is to keep the electric heater from activating is to set the temperature to LO (or 'Climate temperature 59 degrees' via the voice controls)

Gigi Posted February 28, 2014 at 01:21 PM Report Share Posted February 28, 2014 at 01:21 PM Need to take back to the dealer for the 3rd time in 4 months for multiple attempts at check engine light repair and now a charge fault that is not allowing battery to charge. What are the lemon laws in your state? I wonder if you may be near the threshold for a buy-back.
marelind Posted March 20, 2014 at 04:15 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 at 04:15 AM To answer the original questions: 1. 10 - I come home to my husband and say, "The more I drive it, the more I like it!"2. 2002 PT Cruiser3. Over and over again! I love being in EV mode. I love passing the gas stations again and again and again, especially when the gas prices go up and up. I love that almost everyone I show it to says, "...and it's got great looks/style/body." I love the extras that make everything easier: back up camera, adaptive cruise control, Sync (I guess I have too low expectations for the Sync), Driver Assist package, etc. jeff_h
