orensi Posted November 26, 2013 at 08:44 PM Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 at 08:44 PM I am now shopping for an Energi. I really want keyless Push Start but I dont want to go up to Titanium prices.I reserved to just getting one without it but ran into an SE model that has in the window sticker (online) in the optional equipment list:"INTEL ACCESS W/PUSH BUTN START - $520" It isnt mentioned in the Ford website as an SE option and I havent seen any other SE's with it.I emailed the dealership and the rep responded - "oh yeah, all the Energi's have Push start" (ugh).I said that its obviously standard only in Titanium and can she please double check. She came back after a while saying that she went out and checked this specific car and it does have Push start... Anyway if this is true I will happily pay the extra $520 and get this one. Im hoping to get to the dealership tomorrow to check it out and hopefully close! jeff_h Posted November 26, 2013 at 09:08 PM Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 at 09:08 PM (edited) The below is a copy/paste from the original 2014 Energi Order Guide that dealers get -- it is from April so may have changed since then, but I wouldn't think it has changed much. If the Ford site doesn't have it set up properly, also try edmuinds.com or kbb.com 2014 FUSION ENERGI SE LUXURY Fusion Energi (incl. orensi Posted November 27, 2013 at 01:00 AM Author Report Share Posted November 27, 2013 at 01:00 AM OK - I see now that they DID add it as an option to the 2014 SE's - Thanks Jeff! jeff_h
howardbc Posted November 27, 2013 at 03:27 AM Report Share Posted November 27, 2013 at 03:27 AM Wish they'd had it on the 2013 SE models. I preferred the beige cloth seats in the SE to the black leather in the Titanium. But after being used to keyless ignition in my Prius for 5+ years, I didn't want to go back. Now I just keep my Fusion Energi key in a small pouch in the bottom of my pocket book and I never have to fool with it. The Titanium has options I didn't care about at the time I bought it, but I have come to appreciate and enjoy them. But I certainly understand that the Titanium is more expensive. Enjoy your new car, orensi.
