shaggy314 Posted November 26, 2013 at 05:42 PM Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 at 05:42 PM Ok, way too many wet and cold days. I need to save the carpet... I'm price watching (LOVE camelcamelcamel.com btw) both products and am asking the community which they have and why.

FusionEnergi Posted November 30, 2013 at 09:31 PM Report Share Posted November 30, 2013 at 09:31 PM (edited) I'm curious, as I have the weather tech's. What is better about the husky's?It all boils down to your preferences.I like the husky because they are easier to remove without dumping all the dirt or liquid on the carpeted floor. The weather tech ones were kind of slippery and caused your feet to slip forward. I do not have that problem with the husky liners. The husky liners are cheaper in price. shaggy314 Posted December 4, 2013 at 04:56 PM Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2013 at 04:56 PM (edited) I got mine, only complaint (and I'll add it to an amazon review) is the drivers side does NOT snap down. It had the bumps so they could have done it, just didn't. I know it has teeth on the bottom so it isn't going to slide around like a mat would, just, you know, would be nice. Also see them forming a bulge in the front lip instead of staying flush with the carpet. frbill Posted December 4, 2013 at 06:53 PM Report Share Posted December 4, 2013 at 06:53 PM My Folks have the Weather Tech and I never liked how the looked or felt. I just installed the Husky version and they went in easily, if not perfectly conforming to the contours of the car (Front Passenger side to be specific). I wondered what driving with them would be like and I found that the Husky liners are as comfortable and stable as the carpet. Just my 2 cents FWIW. mmmhmmmm Posted December 5, 2013 at 03:43 AM Report Share Posted December 5, 2013 at 03:43 AM I suspect that this seller [absolutely no affiliation with me whatsoever] might accept an offer of $105 for Husky Liners 99751 http://www.ebay.com/itm/400589843212?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Mine shipped today (after 3 days of 'handling' time). It would be nice if they arrived tomorrow. We're supposed to get 5-8 inches Friday.
http Posted December 11, 2013 at 03:15 AM Report Share Posted December 11, 2013 at 03:15 AM I got my Huskies in just in time for the 3" of snow we had today. They fit snugly and with the nubbies on the bottom, they don't move at all. I'll probably pull them out for summer, but they are already at work protecting my carpet from the salty slush in the parking lots.
rmorse Posted January 22, 2014 at 12:29 PM Report Share Posted January 22, 2014 at 12:29 PM I ordered WeatherTech for my 2014 Energi, and my wife ordered Husky's for her 2014 Energi. WeatherTech is better. They don't seem to make a trunk liner though. Bummer.
