Dabu Posted November 19, 2013 at 12:19 AM Report Share Posted November 19, 2013 at 12:19 AM I bought my Fusion Titanium Energi ~ 2 weeks ago, and everything had been going well until yesterday when I tried to start the car and the vehicle asked whether it is still plugged. It eventually started, but not sure what has changed. I did recently install a L2 charger and am not sure if it is related. The charge port ring of light also flashes after I disconnect the charger, which it didn't do before. Anyone else experience this? Thanks. jeff_h Posted November 19, 2013 at 01:59 AM Report Share Posted November 19, 2013 at 01:59 AM Welcome -- check out the thread on the forum which has TSBs related to the Energi (I list them all in the first post and then add onto the thread as we find them), don't know if 13-7-11 is related to your issue, but worth taking a look - http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/topic/1248-collection-of-tsbs-related-to-energi/
Dabu Posted November 22, 2013 at 01:47 AM Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2013 at 01:47 AM Thanks. In my case, however, it was the L2 charger. For some reason, the fit was too snug and I wasn't removing it correctly, and the car could not tell whether it was removed. When I removed it more carefully, it was no longer an issue.
