meyersnole Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:23 AM Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:23 AM Looks like there are going to be more electric Fords rolling down the road after this last month of sales... http://insideevs.com/for-the-first-time-ford-is-the-top-monthly-seller-of-plug-ins-in-october-fusion-energi-sets-a-record/ Andre07 and Eric4539
Eric4539 Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:31 AM Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:31 AM Love it! I feel like a trend setter! I have not seen another Energi in my town, but I have seen 3 Hybrids. We will have a little exclusivity for a while I think.
jeff_h Posted November 5, 2013 at 01:15 PM Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 at 01:15 PM The much larger rebates that were added have done quite a bit to move the cars, so this is nice but I wonder if Ford is making much (if any) money on those sales? But I guess a sale with small profit is better than watching inventory sit there for months...
timf Posted November 5, 2013 at 02:53 PM Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 at 02:53 PM Ford is certainly offering good incentives in order to get rid of the 2013 models. The 2013 Energi I priced last month was $50 cheaper per month on a 2 year lease than a comparable 2014 Fusion Titanium Hybrid. Ultimately I decided to wait in order to get the exact color and options that I want if I decide to move forward with the Fusion.

The best rate for a '14 was 5%. That alone should make the difference. Chuck
