markb Posted October 29, 2013 at 11:52 AM Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 at 11:52 AM I can't get the DSP setting in the Sony System in my Titanium to stay in surround sound mode. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix or is this a bug Ford has yet to address?
murphy Posted October 29, 2013 at 01:32 PM Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 at 01:32 PM It gets changed back to Stereo seemingly at random. At least I haven't found a pattern.
jgadget Posted October 29, 2013 at 02:29 PM Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 at 02:29 PM Happens to me too. Has to be a bug. Very annoying

Griff Posted October 29, 2013 at 11:04 PM Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 at 11:04 PM I've only noticed it to occur between trips, but not during a trip. So, I just make sure to set it for surround at the start of the trip.
markb Posted October 30, 2013 at 12:11 AM Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2013 at 12:11 AM Agree it seems to happen between trips. Sigh, they recently updated the software, you would have thought such an obvious bug would have been fixed.
murphy Posted October 30, 2013 at 12:37 AM Report Share Posted October 30, 2013 at 12:37 AM I have a very low opinion of the MFT programmers. I doubt they know anything about structured programming and code reviews.Reminds me of the problems we had a very long time ago programming in assembly language with only 16K bytes of memory to work with. I complained about the WiFi client password being limited to 10 characters and was told that was done to enhance security.Anyone that knows anything about wireless security knows that is total nonsense. Tell me about it. I have a 13 character WPA2 password for my wifi. I had to create a limited access guest network with a shorter password just to try to connect. Seeing that the being connected while in my garage didn't really do much for me, I disable it. Now waiting for an iOS 7 jailbreak zoo I can use my unlimited data on my iPhone 5s! Russael Posted November 4, 2013 at 02:50 PM Report Share Posted November 4, 2013 at 02:50 PM I was hoping they would've fixed that with MFT 3.6.2, but it still isn't persistent. I gave up at switching it over to surround sound a long time ago since it reverts back to stereo after every powercycle.
