I just had an electrician come out to do a site survey for an L2 charger. I won't be able to get one until probably January but I have been doing some research. Has anyone purchased or had experience with the Clipper Creek LCS-25P? It seems to be just what I need. I get moved around a lot and want something that is really portable. Any info would be appreciated.

P.S. I am loving driving around on EV all the time

Peace,

Father Bill

Is it the hardwired or plug version?

Mine did not come with a plug (has 3 wires only), but a plug could be ordered online for about $20... when I had the electrician wire it up (a new breaker was needed) he didn't put on a plug but put a junction box on the wall so I could easily flip the breaker and disconnect it myself if the charger needed to be moved elsewhere.

Just reread this post and noticed your timeline. You may want to consider doing this in the 2013 calendar year so that you can deduct some of the cost from your taxes. As of now, the deduction will not be available in January.
