Dag Posted October 14, 2013 at 01:08 PM Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 at 01:08 PM I'm two weeks into my new Energi, and I have yet another question. As I was going through my center console in my truck, I came across these. I've been using them once a week for a while now. I didn't realize they had expiration dates, because I was buying about 36 gallons of gas every week or so. I have about 900 miles on my FFE, and the tank is still above half. I'm getting ready to install a charger at work, which will make my commute 100% EV. When I put in a L2 in my garage (for convenience, not for cost savings) this will render these all but useless. So, now that I'm a little more energy conscious, and reducing my share of automobile pollution, I'm looking for some guidance on the most earth friendly way to use these? Suggestions? meyersnole
Russael Posted October 14, 2013 at 01:15 PM Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 at 01:15 PM The only earth friendly way I can think of using those is maybe folding them up and using them as shims for woodwork, etc. That, or recycling them (recycling is a job and promotes local work! :)) The funny thing is a lot of grocery store rewards here in MI use fuel as an incentive. It'd be nice if they'd give electric bill credits instead, or coupons for a different product.

Nothing earth friendly to with plastic, but the paper is compost able :) You can also donate them to your less fortunate friends. You might want to start looking into a new credit card that does cash back or miles....
