murphy Posted September 17, 2013 at 10:04 PM Report Share Posted September 17, 2013 at 10:04 PM I connected my car to the charger today. MFM reported that the car was charging. Several hours later I realized I hadn't received the end of charging notification. I checked the charger and it was done so I disconnected the charger from the car. The MFM web site indicated the car was still charging and would complete an hour and a half ago. The web site was unable to contact the car. I moved the car 6" forward and the charge complete notification came in. Apparently I had stopped in a null for the AT&T cell tower. It would be helpful if there was a signal strength indicator for the MFM radio.
Griff Posted September 17, 2013 at 11:10 PM Report Share Posted September 17, 2013 at 11:10 PM Over the last couple of days, there have been connection issues. I think it's a problem on their end.

norcal Posted October 19, 2013 at 03:26 AM Report Share Posted October 19, 2013 at 03:26 AM Did you ever resolve this? My Energi stopped communicating with the outside world less than a month off the dealer's lot, and I've been trying to figure it out for several weeks. It's not a huge deal because the car drives fine, but it is annoying. With support from Ford by email and phone, they've advised me to: 1. Remove the #10 fuse for five minutes.2. Remove the car from my profile online.3. Install the latest software update. I did all of those, but nothing worked--except that I don't have a car on my profile anymore. I can't add a vehicle because the car isn't communicating with myFordmobile. This seems like a hardware failure...might be time to bring it to the dealer, but I thought I'd check here first. Thanks! murphy Posted October 19, 2013 at 10:04 AM Author Report Share Posted October 19, 2013 at 10:04 AM How is AT&T cell phone service at your house? The car calls home using the AT&T cell phone network. Did you pull fuse 10 in the driver's foot well and not fuse 10 under the hood? Did you check the fuse to see if it was still good? At the cost of having to redo some settings and having the ICE relearn its operating parameters you can achieve the same result by disconnecting the negative lead on the 12 fvolt battery in the trunk for 15 minutes if fuse 10 is still good. Russael Posted October 19, 2013 at 02:41 PM Report Share Posted October 19, 2013 at 02:41 PM One other person had an issue where the car stopped phoning home and it was a blown fuse. Here's a suggestion by CombsAuthor in the MyFord Mobile thread: On the inside fuse panel that is to the left of the steering column, pull Fuse #15 (Datalink/Gateway Module). Let the fuse stay out for 30 seconds and reinstall. This is on page 239 of your owner's manual.
