PaulsFusionEnergiTitanium Posted September 18, 2013 at 09:30 PM Report Share Posted September 18, 2013 at 09:30 PM (she is bummed because she wanted light blue, like the old frosted glass color, but she doesn't like ice storm as she says it's too green). I think that the "ice storm" is an awesome color! It is a woman's color, but it looks the best in my opinion. That is my sexist comment for the day. 2013 incentives are great right now! I pick up my FFE on Friday with the following incentives: -2500 Ford rebate-1000 competitive lease-500 facebook coupon-4000 federal tax incentive (recoverable in 2014)-2500 Ford X-plan discount (friends and family of Ford employees) Even if you can't get the X-Plan, you will be able to work them down on the MSRP. Also the facebook cash may no longer be available this week. Hope this helps. Good luck.
murphy Posted September 18, 2013 at 09:42 PM Report Share Posted September 18, 2013 at 09:42 PM As I found out too late, X plan is also available to anyone that has held at least 100 shares of Ford stock for at least 6 months.
apm Posted September 20, 2013 at 12:47 PM Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 at 12:47 PM Thanks APM, I'm just about sold now on the practicality of the FFE for our needs. Just ready to pull the trigger and get a decent deal on a '13. Hi EnergiCCAATS, Here is my yesterday's driving as reported by MyFord Mobile. A total of 13.1 miles and 2.6Kwh used and 49% battery remaining at the end of the day. In terms of actual cost, I calculated that it cost me about $0.42 to drive the 13.1 miles, or about $0.032/mile (2.6Kwh x 1.4 charge waste x $0.1172 electricity rate / 13.1 miles) As a comparison, if driving in Hybrid mode, the cost per mile is about $0.08 (using the EPA range of 43MPG and $3.50 per gallon). I tried to get that, but shareholder relations and everyone else I talked to PRIOR to buying my car couldn't help me with that

Gigi Posted January 10, 2014 at 10:08 PM Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 at 10:08 PM Buying $174 worth of stock at today's price could get me $2,500 off the price of a new car six months from now? Dang! The stock could totally tank and I'd be way ahead. Does the X-plan eliminate receiving other discounts?
Kybuck Posted January 11, 2014 at 02:56 AM Report Share Posted January 11, 2014 at 02:56 AM X-Plan works with most other rebates and incentives (I combined X-Plan, $750 coupon, and $500 Ford incentive without an issue). The only thing it doesn't usually jive with is any additional "dealer cash" or other dealership-level discounts. Where are you finding 100 shares of Ford stock for $174?? Another (less expensive) option is to join the Mustang Club of America - membership is something like $50/year and members qualify for the X-Plan discount. Also, since the MSRP reduction, the X-Plan is closer to "only" $2k off of the base MSRP on the two FFE models.
