Anybody find any info on this? My wife has problems unplugging the cord from the wall as it is a very snug fit and her hands are weaker from age and disease. I have no problems unplugging it, .... when I'm home and the car's fully re-charged but that leaves all the other times. Thanks in advance. If its only $2 a year on a 3 year lease I'll leave it plugged in rather than pay the cost of an Electrician to come out! I'm more concerned about safety though. I would only be concerned during thunderstorms. I wouldn't want surges to damage the charger or the car. I unplugged the 120 V charger during storms.
