At first I thought it was my home wifi but then I realized i can control car where ever I am and where ever the car is through my phone app. I'm amazed I don't have to pay for it. Ford has this to say about SYNC Your complimentary subscription* will remain active 36 months from the vehicle sales date. You must renew your subscription every year at no charge to continue using these services. Ford describes it as a good way to create a hotspot from your phone to other devices in the car. Hmmm if you phone is broadcasting a hotspot, why do I need the car to do it?? I'm sure as the years go by they will improve the software and functionality of the voice response. Soon maybe we will be able to have "conversations" with our Fusion. If they activate a 4G cell signal imagination is the only limit to what the car will be able to do. Maybe one day they will activate it so it can drive itself.
