Phatman Posted July 15, 2013 at 03:37 AM Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 at 03:37 AM Hey All- this is a fantastic forum. I am learning so much about my Fusion Energi through this group. Maybe this was posted previously and I missed it. Can any one comment on when they would take their car in for an oil change? At what mileage on the ICE would they replace the oil? I love to get people's input. Thanks. Phatman
murphy Posted July 15, 2013 at 10:21 AM Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 at 10:21 AM Two years or 20,000 miles or when the display tells you the oil needs to be changed.
Russael Posted July 15, 2013 at 11:11 AM Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 at 11:11 AM And Murphy's statement is why buying a maintenance plan for this car is not worth it. :) I'd go by what the display tells you, but the manual says you can go about 2 years before needing an oil change, dependent on how often you're driving on the gas motor. And I'd personally ONLY use synthetic. It recommends minimum synthetic blend to maintain warranty.

I made it 6 months but probably should reschedule for 12 months. Anybody get it? Might be dealer specific.
shaggy314 Posted July 15, 2013 at 07:53 PM Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 at 07:53 PM 10k miles or as indicated. I got a free 3 year maintence on a 5k schedule but wait for 7.5k - 10k. I'm 1.5k miels now and still and 1/4 of tank left on the dealer's tank full. If nothing else I'm sure 'she' will benefit from the lube.
