timf Posted July 15, 2013 at 04:28 AM Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 at 04:28 AM Canada uses imperial gallons, which are about 25% bigger than U.S. gallons. They also use a different mileage test cycle than the EPA. Andre07
shaggy314 Posted July 15, 2013 at 08:03 PM Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 at 08:03 PM and don't they use those funny metres whereas we use manly meters. They also have some white stuff they call snow. I've seen pictures, here in Texas we just have summer. Seriously though, I'm surprised their stickers aren't in km/l like you'll see in Europe. Edman951 Posted July 17, 2013 at 02:23 AM Author Report Share Posted July 17, 2013 at 02:23 AM Weird that they indicate imperial gallons, other manufacturer spec US mpg.Makes it hard to compare. But in Hybrid, 4.5 L/100 = 52.27 mpg US, much higher then the EPA rating.Already the EPA is high. Plus EV range in canada is 43 km = 26.7 miles, so they are high on this too. In Canada, its always L/100 km
