xxxthebxxx Posted March 26, 2023 at 04:10 PM Report Share Posted March 26, 2023 at 04:10 PM Hi all, I noticed recently that if I'm following a car with cruise control on (set to adaptive) in my 2019 Energi, if I accelerate on the pedal and then press cancel, there is a chime that plays (like if the door is open) once and the display turns orange. Is that simply because I got closer to the vehicle ahead of me than what it was set at, or is there some fault? Thanks!

muzicman61 Posted March 29, 2023 at 12:24 PM Report Share Posted March 29, 2023 at 12:24 PM So last night I tried this, and I think I figured it out. It's simply a slight warning that your adaptive cruise control has been disabled. Especially since it highlights the car distance bars. I found out you don't have to actually accelerate. Simply hitting the cancel button while your cruise control is on will do it.
xxxthebxxx Posted March 29, 2023 at 06:33 PM Author Report Share Posted March 29, 2023 at 06:33 PM I never seemed to notice it before, but I agree. It's just hitting the cancel button that does it. I swear I've hit cancel before and NOT heard the tone, but maybe I missed it. muzicman61
