dookiebrown Posted March 4, 2023 at 10:17 PM Report Share Posted March 4, 2023 at 10:17 PM (edited) Looking to buy a used 2018 Fusion Energi Titanium here in California. The ARB site says PZEV ()https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/resources/fact-sheets/california-vehicle-and-emissions-warranty-periods but the car shows TZEV (SULEV30), see image. Does this mean the car is not covered by the CA warranty? If it is covered, does the warranty transfer to new owners? Thanks. jsamp Posted March 7, 2023 at 06:24 AM Report Share Posted March 7, 2023 at 06:24 AM I think Ford's warranty was 8 year 100k miles for the energi, though maybe CA holds them to the higher standard. Either way it is hard to get Ford to stick to that. I had an Escape Hybrid that had a pump go out in the eCVT that was a hybrid only transmission. They wouldn't honor the warranty. So much for the "hybrid component" warranty.
