TRegan Posted February 18, 2023 at 02:14 PM Report Share Posted February 18, 2023 at 02:14 PM Have around 50k miles. Recently noticed a pop or clunk sound when on and off the gas and moving over approx 5 mph. Seems to me to be the engagement and disengagement of the regen braking. Possible solenoid or actuator?? Does anyone know how and where this takes place? Is it inside the tranny. Also could be some kind of wear or play in the driveline because when you go on and off the gas pedal its essentially going from accelerating to braking. Correct??? Any help greatly appreciated as I hate taking my vehicles to the dealer.
Mo V Posted February 22, 2023 at 01:27 AM Report Share Posted February 22, 2023 at 01:27 AM Hey there, I've had the same issue with 14 energi 130k miles for quite some time. I've replaced several parts over the years, struts, brakes, axles, end links, steering rack, wheel bearings, fluid changes, but it's always there. It's got me looking at the transmission. But I'm curious if you or anyone else find out or have suggestions.
