You probably turned the climate control on.  That will reduce your EV range shown on the console.  The AC and heater can consume significant amounts of energy and reduce your EV range.  The information sent to MyFord mobile does not contain climate settings.  So the estimate at MyFord Mobile is for when the climate control is off.

Also, the car needs time to learn your driving habits and destinations.  The battery range is dependent on a couple of things such as brake score, how you accelerate, and your average cruising speed (there is a coach tool in the cluster), plus climate will eat at least 5 miles off of your range.  When I first took delivery of mine, it gave me a range of around 18 miles, and it wasn't completely charged either.  After charging it the first time and going out again, it went up to 24, and kept increasing over the course of about a week to around 30.  Most of my trips are surface street speeds, between 35 and 45MPH.  I used the navigation system a couple times and tested the Eco Route feature, which worked better than I expected.  Made a 10 mile trip to a building using the shortest route and got something like 160MPGe.  Used the eco route on the way back and got 194.  Take advantage of that and see if the car finds a better route to your typical destinations.

Russ, thanks.. As you can appreciate, this car can be a bit overwhelming at first.  It is so different, even from our 2010 Fusion Hybrid.   I am using AC (this is Atlanta in the summer) and I had not yet noticed the Eco Route feature but will definitely try it out.

 

There's an option buried somewhere in the Navigation options that will have 3 choices as your default route (fastest, shortest, eco).  I told it to turn off default and now it asks me each time I program a route, which route I want to take, and it will display all three on the map.  It'll give distance and estimated time.  For the Eco route feature, there's also a time delay option (short, medium, long), so the car will pick a blend of the best gas saving route while not eating a lot of additional time over other route choices.  I set mine to medium.

 

Bright side for you is that you're coming from a fairly advanced vehicle. :) I am coming from 1999 to 2001 technology.  Traded in a 2001 Focus (bought used 3 years ago) for the car, but kept my 1999 Expedition (first vehicle I ever owned and I plan on keeping it forever).  I had leased a 1997 F-150 prior to that, so I don't consider that an 'own'. :)

My upgrade was from the only Honda built in 1993 without airbags, a 1993 Acura Integra GS w/ a 5 speed. So bah on your technology upgrades, I think mine's 'technology' was to have automatic seat belts (which were required since it didn't have air bags) and anti lock brakes.

 

Her stats are below, for some reason I didn't have 2009's gas fill ups, or I'd have had in the 95%+ range of all fill ups.

 

2100 miles still waiting to put gas in the Energi, might do it this weekend for the novelty.

I did not realize the car was drawing 60 watts from the 120 VAC charger even before the 11 PM Value Charge starts. When the car is plugged in I can hear a fan running in the high voltage battery compartment. Why would that fan need to run when no charging is taking place?  I suppose I could put a timer on the charge cord.

TX NRB,  thanks for the link to the videos.  I actually found them myself (there was a tiny link on some other Ford web page I visited).  However, they only cover "the basics".  I couldn't find any on the options (like Self Parking and Collision Detection) which are really the features I was most interested in reviewing.

 

No, they are all there. Search 'fordowner Fusion' and whatever you are looking for, you need to use the Ford term, or try just collision or auto park... there are like 40-50 I think. Like:
