thetaxman Posted June 29, 2013 at 01:15 AM Report Share Posted June 29, 2013 at 01:15 AM 1400 miles in and so far loving this car. Went for the Ice Storm over Dune SE model. 65.2mpg life time average on a 98 mile daily round trip commute. Using grocery store fuel discounts on top of a charging station at work is saving $330 a month in gas compared by old S500. The CA DMV issued HOV lane access stickers take 20-40 minutes off the commute time in rush hour. Nice to be here. meyersnole

Welcome to the forum, and post some pictures when you can. The color combo sounds really nice.
Russael Posted June 29, 2013 at 12:37 PM Report Share Posted June 29, 2013 at 12:37 PM You're one of the more fortunate ones who can charge at work. Presently, that seems to be a rare commodity. Because of that, that really tips the scales of Energi ownership back in to your ballpark considering the distance you travel. 3900 in gas savings a year is crazy. In 10 years, you almost would've paid for another car... 39,000 just in gas savings. Of course, that's dependent on gas prices. They always seem to be going up and it isn't because of supply shortages either. Can't wait until State Gov't finds a way to nail us on our vehicle registrations because we're not spending tax money at the pump anymore.
