Dealer wants $8000.00 to replace with a used trans. I have ordered a salvaged one for $2000.00 and plan to replace myself. Anyone ever do this. Ford used to have a service rep log in to help direct owners to the right place and occasionally escalate issues, but they haven't logged in for years. The site remains independently owned and operated. The FSM for this car is available digitally - a couple quick Google searches yield instant results.
