Is there a newer version of this card? An A5? How do we get the latest SD Card? My Navigation didn't show a new road that was there for probably at least a year. The road it didn't show is the section of Butterfield Blvd between Tennant and Monterey Rd in Morgan Hill CA. Google Butterfield Blvd Morgan Hill CA to see the section I am talking about OR look at new images at top of this website. I am wondering if others have this version and if theirs is out of date? I purchased my Energi 10-28-13. My A4 card number is DM5T-19H449-AA USA/CAN

Question: Does enabling NAV reduce your EV range? Background: I hadn't plugged in my NAV SD Card, because I didn't want NAV. Unfortunately the dealer only had models on the lot with NAV. I was thinking of selling the SD Card to try to recoup some of the cost of the NAV, but I checked ebay and found that the SD card is a mere fraction of the cost. Presumably the GPS and other(?) systems embedded in the vehicle are the bulk of the expense. I've been driving for a week or so without the SD card plugged in, the same commute over and over. The other day I plugged in the NAV's SD card and I get the impression the number of miles listed as remaining in EV mode has been subtly affected. Surely enabling the NAV has a drain on batteries. The touch screen is constantly showing the current street name on screen whether I've got a destination enabled or not. Those calculations/lookups are free. Does anyone have any data on NAV? Should I just leave the SD Card unplugged if I want to optimize my EV Range? My iPhone's Waze app has considerably better traffic and incident information and presumably better routing too - and I can charge that one at work for free. ;) Thanks, Joseph Elwell.

I'm trying to put my finger on how all this data transfer works and what it all costs. From what I've read the Energi has Wifi, okay that one's easy. I've also read it has 3G or some kind of cellular data connection. Can't imagine a cellular data connection without fees. Can anyone elaborate on this? Then theres Sync, I don't know much about it or if I need it but I'm sure it comes with a cost. Finally theres Sirius services. I'm familiar with their sat radio, if you like it you pay for it, if not you don't. But the Energi has a few extra Sirius services (NavTraffic, NavWeather, SiriusXM Travel Link) that I can't find much detail on. Can someone enlighten me on how all this works and what it's going to cost in the real world. Thanks in advance!
