  1. I really did not want to start a new topic of conversation, but after reading the multiple threads, feels like there are no answers that are specific enough... Second time now, within 2 weeks, my 2017 Fusion Energi loosing connection to MFM app and loosing Onboard Modem serial number, effectively preventing the sync to the MFM and to go times. Happens on the 120V home charger. Already removed and reinstalled fuse 10 once, fixing the issue. But have anyone figure out the root cause of the issue? The fuse is 5amp fuse, possibly Voltage spike? I also noticed that I left the car plugged in for 2 days when issue occurs (is this a problem?). What I really struggle with is there seems to be not a logical explanation to cause-and-effect. Is the Modem fails because fuse is tripped? Is the fix really to remove-reinstall the fuse or re-registration with MFM is required after each occurrence?
  2. Has anybody else experienced their car NOT updating their internal clocks to Daylight Savings Time on Sunday? I didn't use my car yesterday, but when I went to leave today, noticed that my car wasn't preconditioning and was still stone cold. I had skipped my Go Time on Sunday and briefly thought that it skipped my Monday one too, but then after I turned the car on, noticed my clock was an hour slow. Yes, DST is enabled and I even tried updating the car with the GPS time, but that updates an hour slow as well. So for now, it's manually forwarded an hour.
  3. I have a new 2017 FFE Titanium. This replaced a 2013 FFE SE model that was totaled. In my 2013 FFE the Go Times and preconditioning was problematic. On cold winter days the go times would be set at 85 but the cabin never reached that temp or even close. Now in my 2017 model the same issue exists. Using Go Times is pointless since I am not getting the cabin to warm at all hardly. Oh and the car is plugged into a Level 2 charger at home. Does anybody have an suggestions? On a cold morning I can remote start the car and it warms the cabin fine but it also eats up battery.
  4. Folks, I've just tried to set my Go Times and temperature, and I save, but when I go back in to check, they're all gone. I set it up last night, and this morning no climate conditioning had occured. I set them again earlier today, and just went back in an checked, and they're all gone. I just tried it again, logged out and logged back in and they're all gone again... Am I doing something wrong - or missing a step? Thanks, ria
  5. It was time for the first Oil Change, tire rotation and VA Safety Inspection for my 2013 Fusion Energi. I typically change my own oil because I like to know that it is done correctly, and it's less expensive. I usually get whatever synthetic oil/filter package on sale at Autozone or Advanced Auto, and it typically costs about $35. I did a search on this board to see if there was anything I needed to be aware of before doing the oil change and I saw that I would have to remove an undercarriage plate (9 hex head bolts, I believe). That sounded like a hassle, but I dealt with the same issue on my 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid, so I was not concerned. But.... I also saw about Ford's 'The Works' oil change package which was on-sale for only $29 (after rebate) and it used a Synthetic Blend oil - plus did a tire rotation. Clearly a win-win for me since it was cheaper, and included the tire rotation, which is always a pain-in-the-@$$ to do at home - especially without a spare tire. As an extra 'bonus' there was a coupon for a free safety inspection (a $19 value!). I also needed to have the Go-Time issue fixed, so I figured as long as it need to go to the dealer, I might as well have them do it all. I called and made an appointment to have the Go times fixed and 'The Works' done. I also mentioned the TSB for the FCIM and said they may want to look at applying it, since it seems to fix the problem for the Go-Times. So I get to the dealership at my appointed time, and the 'Service manager' assigned to me asks what a 'Go Time' is. He then proceeds to tell me he is the Service manager for Commercial Diesel Fleet customers and knows nothing about gas cars, much less EV. Someone comes by and tells him to update the Sync software and he asks 'what's that'? Apparently they didn't have any EV certified mechanics on duty. Someone else hands him a flashdrive and says to use that. He takes the flash drive and says, 'What's this thing?' Clearly the -Go-Times did not get fixed. So... the receipt lists 6 quarts of oil (and charged me an extra $3.65 because 'The Works' only includes 5), but my manual says it only takes 4.5 quarts. It lists the Oil Filter part number as 'BE8Z 6731 AB'. My manual says to use FL.910.S. At least they had it on a charger when I picked it up. Anyone have any insight on the extra oil charge or the strange Oil Filter part number. Also, $3.65 seems cheap for a Synthetic Blend oil. Do they even make a 5w20 that is not synthetic?
  6. I've checked on it and have tried to set it up for the last (3) days online and on the app, but it won't let me... When I go online, it says: "Cannot retrieve Go Times. Please try again later." Is everyone experiencing this issue? I really want to set this up...
