Just bought my 2016 ford fusion energi everything works great all besides not being able to utilize the EV button as even when the car is fully charged it displays "EV Now Not Available" and will not allow me to use anything other than auto, I have not seen any posts about this issue and was wondering if anyone knows anything about fixing the issue Ps. I do charge the vehicle to 100% when trying to use EV button

Hello, I'm a newish focus energi owner that lives on top of a hill in Washington State. I start my commute fully charged and descend about 700 feet in 4 miles on EV Now mode. Near the bottom of the hill, the motor starts and revs really, really high (like as high as it can rev). Is this normal? Why is it using gas when the battery is fully charged and I'm going downhill? -Matt Seattle, WA

Hi there, I just got my car back from the shop and suddenly, my EV mode won't work. I press the EV button on the center console, and it says "EV Now Not Available." This is where I should be able to switch from electric to gas. My battery is fully charged, but it's not draining at all (well, it went from 100% to 94% in 100 miles) meaning it's only using the engine not the electric. Usually, I get in my car in the morning with a full charge and it uses the battery automatically, then gas kicks in about 13 miles later. I do see the Fuel Freshness message appear. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks!
