This has been happening now for a couple weeks but randomly one day the check engine light turned on. Plugged in the scanner and it throws the code P0C28. Called ford and told them the code and when could i get in. Eventually got it in and they say the code was spark plugs. Never dealt with a dealership before so i was just hopping maybe that would be it. Couple days later turns back on throwing the same code but everynow and then the light will turn off on its on without me clearing it. Not sure what to do cause I'm worried about more potential damage but so far i haven't felt anything different. Also not sure if the dealership just scammed me of plugs when i didn't need them.

Anyone experiencing intermittent transmission problems with their FFE? I have an almost-new 2015 Ford Fusion Energi with 3400 miles on it that, for the past two weeks, has been suffering an intermittent transmission-related problem. During the few minutes of a trip, the car will either jerk/shudder under light acceleration, or jerk during light to moderate braking. It may do this for a few moments, and then stop, and not reoccur for the rest of the trip. The problem is intermittent - it doesn't happen on every trip, or on a particular trip, but the problem has been experienced with both a cold or warm car. It also occurs both using the electric motor, and the ICE. The car has been used for commuting back and forth to work, and the occasional short trip (~50 miles). It's been treated gently during this entire time. Otherwise, the car shows no other signs of trouble. An under hood inspection has turned up no loose connections. No trouble codes have been set. And I haven't figured out how to get the problem to repeat consistently. I'll take this into the dealership once the problem is consistent enough that a tech will be able to recreate it. Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated - thanks.

Anyone else hear of a transmission service bulletin for the '14 FFE Energi? My husband's car was making a grinding noise when accelerating. It seemed to be coming from the passenger's side front, so I actually sort of thought it may be a wheel bearing. We took it to the dealer because it is still in warranty (35,000) :dance:Service told us that there is a known service bulletin for it and it was in fact the transmission. So with a big gulp we asked if it was covered in warranty. Thankfully it is. He also said Ford may replace the tires too. :headscratch: Sound familiar to anyone here? We bought the car in November and have had zero problems with it. On the day we drove it to the dealer I noticed the 100% charged battery indicated a maximum mileage of 12! It was in the lower 40s that day so I don't suspect it was because of cold weather. Can this be related? Thanks!
