How can i know if the tax credit is still available? I sort of remember that the availability of the $4007 tax credit was tied to national sales number. i dont remember the figure. How can i find the number and find out if the sales have exceeded that number yet? any help is appreciated. i love this forum . . . great information! -Mickey

Well, I have had my car for one year and driven 23,000+ miles. Using the MyFordMobile app/site, I just discovered that I just broke the 1000 "gallons saved" barrier vs driving my 17mpg-averaging Honda Ridegline. Woohoo!!!! The average price of gas over the last year, where I live, has been $3.50. That's $3500! Throw in my $4007 tax credit and that equates to $7507 in savings. Even when you factor in the cost of electricity over the last year ($200), it still a great savings. This pretty much means I've had my car free for the last year, because I didn't spend that much in car payments! You can't beat that with a bat!

H&R Block Tax Cut - DOES NOT support the EV Tax Credit
Neil posted a topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
I spend almost 2 hours yesterday entering my tax information in H&R Block's Tax Cut on-line application for my 2013 tax year taxes. I kept waiting for the 'Interview' to ask me if I bought a qualified EV, or if I had any other tax credits, but it never did. I got to the end and it said...'Ready to File'. I don't think so - what about the $4007 credit for buying an EV. I opened a chat session with an H&R Block tax representative and they informed me that the software did not support that credit. Basically your screwed. Their is no way to manually force it in either. I've used Tax Cut for over a decade and will never use them again. It kind of makes you wonder what other deductions/credits it does't know about. I'm redoing my taxes using the on-line Turbo Tax. I checked before I started and they say they do support the credit. It'll be interesting to see if both software packages calculate my taxes the same (except for the EV credit of course).- 8 replies

I have found that community driven spreadsheets can cut down on research time when it comes to similar inquires. That being said I created a folder on Google Docs Drive with a couple of files that have commonly requested information. Please add to these as you find information. Also try and keep them clean and tidy as well. They are very basic and are far from complete. File Folder: Energi Documents - https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B627rda5d4oeWkxVVXBQZ0RHQ3M&usp=sharing This folder contains a couple of Fusion Energi related spreadsheets, please add files if they are appropriate and pertain to the Fusion Energi File: Energi TSBs - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aq27rda5d4oedDVENzJYckQ1U2Y2WXdNZWFXWmhmY1E&usp=sharing This file contains Energi Technical Service Bulletins, please add to it as you find additional TSBs and/or more are published. File: Tax Credit Links - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aq27rda5d4oedHdqZVhfUkRkc1FHZUlDQ1QxRkpWRmc&usp=sharing This file contains federal and state tax credits, I have added a sheet for Colorado, please add sheets for your state and populate the data as you find it.
