Hello everyone! I have joined this forum in hope that I can have some light shed to the following mystery. Last week, I have purchased a used 2016 Ford Fusion Energi Hybrid SE with some extra luxury features thrown in. Overall, I love the car. On inspection of the vehicle, I noticed that in the left side of the instrument panel, in the Settings > Vehicle, I have a full set of "Remote Start" options, including windows, locks and climate settings. However, the keyfob which came with the car doesn't have a Remote Start button. After some research, I have noticed that the "Remote Start" options will not be exposed in the instrument panel's "Settings" menu unless the car has this option installed. At the same time, the features list for the vehicle shows "Less Remote Start" (or something like that). So my question is this: is this possible that this information is incorrect and that my car does have a "Remote Start" feature but the used car dealer somehow replaced the original keyfob with a cheaper one (perhaps because the original was broken or lost)? Howe can I for sure check if my car has this feature? Thank you in advance for all your help and time!

Hi, Is there a way to remote start the car in EV later mode? I'd like to heat the car w/ gas, not electric when I want to start it up in the morning. It seems that whether or not the car was turned off in EV later/auto/EV, it defaults to EV when it starts. When the car is plugged in, engine doesn't turn on and I see my EV miles depleted when I get into the car. Would like to just use gas for the 15 minutes it will take to warm up the inside. I've a 2014 fusion energi that was recently brought in for one of the recalls and it looks like the computer(s) were re-programmed. I haven't tried to start it and heat it up w/ remote starter since the reprogramming. Usually drive it to work on EV w/o heat. thanks, rk

I have a remote start issue that I can't solve. When I go Vehicle--> Remote Start ---> Climate Control all of the offerings are grayed out and you can not select them. The system is enabled and set to a 10 minute duration. Any ideas? I am not using MyKey and I have tried both keys, with the car "running" and in ACC mode. I've even tried accessing it while the car is started via remote start. Nothing seems to shake it.

With MFM how do I change the time from 5 minutes to 10?
