Thanks dennist2021. Just was I was looking for. I did see the EPB info elsewhere but thanks for thinking to include it anyway.

I'm getting ready to replace pads and rotors on 2015 Titanium Energi and looking for the following info. I've done brakes before and it's been easy to find specs. Not for this car. 1. Do the caliper pistons, rotate in or get push straight back? I've seen conflicting info. 2. Does anyone have the torque specs for caliper bolts and caliper mounting bracket bolts? Thanks

I replaced my antenna after it was hit by my garage door breaking the mount. The easiest alternative, since I couldn't screw a new antenna, was to go with a shark fin. I bought mine from https://shop.visualgarage.com/. Perfect color match and it covered a small dent in the roof around the mount when I hit the door. It's wider than some OEM antennas but it needs to be to cover the mount. It looks quite nice. It's been on since Jan of 2016 and still looks great. Can't tell the card didn't come that way. The only downside is that radio reception suffers on a bit. Not really noticeable on FM but on AM I notice a difference. Maybe it's been improved in almost 2 years?

Called my dealer to make an appointment to get my modem replaced. They said they must see the modem as each one is coded uniquely and can't be looked up via the VIN. They also said it's not something I can drive in and they can look at as it takes a few hours. Not sure I believe it takes more than a few minutes.

New Energi owner with some questions
looking372 replied to saleen436's topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
I have a 2015 with heated/cooled seats and I also notice a fan noise when the heated seats are on. They get very warm and I have to turn them off after a few minutes and this is wearing thick jeans. -
I had this issue this past Friday (The day before I was driving in 0 degree F weather. If you go to the main display, to the Power screen you'll see where is says "engine on for oil maintenance". My car also wouldn't turn off so I called the dealer. They didn't have a clue and told me to make an appointment to bring it in. I finally found the info below buried in the manual: It took 26+ miles of the engine running constantly for it to reset. Low Engine Use (If Equipped) The low engine use mode is equipped on Fusion Energi models only. The low engine use mode will activate automatically when you drive your vehicle with limited engine use. The mode will maintain proper engine lubrication at sufficient temperature. If your vehicle is in low engine use mode when you start the vehicle, a message will appear in the information display. When your vehicle is in low engine use mode, your vehicle will automatically run the engine as necessary. If you select the EV Now mode while the vehicle is in the low engine use mode, EV Now mode will be suspended for as long as you are in low engine use mode The low engine use mode will resume the next time you start your vehicle and will automatically stop when no longer needed Note: Cold temperatures will affect the engine warm up time and the low engine use mode may operate more frequently. Note: An oil change is not required but gives you the option of not running a low engine use cycle. Resetting the oil life monitoring system will suspend the low engine use mode.

Brakes grabbing (last 15 feet)
looking372 replied to GKB1000's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
I also have noticed this. Have just over 1000 miles on the car. Anyone find a solution to the problem. -
Stevedebi, The end of the cable that plugs into the cars is a industry standard. The other end, if the Ford charger that WouterP has is like most others, is wired into the charger, not plugged in. So the charger would have to be opened the old cable removed and the new one attached using the bare wires. Shouldn't be more then removing a few screws etc. A quick check on Amazon shows a different one for $170. Link

You can get a replacement cable here for $219 I'm sure there are many other sites that also sell replacement cables. This is just the first one that I saw

Very interesting and disappointing to hear. I was hoping that it would be something the dealer could fix, doesn't sound that way. It's surprising that so many years after they merged back in 2011 they would have consolidated their technology.

mbison, Without the installation instructions from the charger I'm not going to guess if those parts are correct. However to fit a 40AMP breaker you'll have to: 1. Breakout the two blanks in the panel. They're the two depressed areas just below the bottom breakers in the first picture. 2. Move one pair of the bottom 20 AMP breakers to one of the new openings on the opposite side. This will require some rewiring. 3. Now you can install the 40amp in the freed up spot and the newly opened one. If you don't know what you're doing, I wouldn't recommend making the changes. Just a disclosure, I'm NOT a electrician.

HID headlights
looking372 replied to dlb92's topic in Glass, Headlights, Fog lamps, Lenses & Window Tint
Johnny, I'd love to see a final picture of the results up against a wall. It doesn't sound like you are replacing the projector lenses. There are several comments in forums like hidplanet, that the fusion lens don't work well with HID lights and don't have a good cutoff etc. Please post back how it went with a few pictures. What year is your FFE it's not in your signature -
Does anyone have week/spotty reception on their satellite radio? Compared to my Sonata Hybrid which has no dropouts, I loose reception for a few second quite frequently on my 2015 FFE
-
I'll have to DB check but I was pretty sure that on my 2015 energi Titanium the DRL uses the parking lights. It's a small bulb in next to the high beam. The low beam is in the projector lens.

Picked up our 2015 Titanium energi this past Wednesday night and I just noticed that the 12v outlets under the front center armrest and in the center console for the back seats don't have covers. Is that normal? I would think that in the front one loose change could easily fall in the hole and short it out. Do other people have covers and are ours missing?

What Level 2 Charger did you buy/install?
looking372 replied to jeff_h's topic in Batteries & Charging
Bought and installed a Schneider Electric EVlink 30 Amp charger from Homedepot for $499 after $100 off. Only used it for 1 day so far as my car just arrived, but works great. Please add the charger to the poll. Thanks -
Finally. I picked up my new 2015 Titanium energi last night. Ordered on July 12th. Ingot silver with ceramic seats. :)

Shaggy314, I don't have my car yet, hopefully in 10 days or so. The 2015 manual says you can lock the charge handle with a padlock. Is this not in option in earlier models? The manual also states "Make sure that the 120 volt convenience cord is completely unwound before charging." Locking the Charging Coupler Note: You will need a padlock or a combination lock with a shackle diameter of 0.2 (5 mm) or less and the straight portion of the shackle of 1.0 (25.4 mm) of length or more. 1. Insert the lock through the hole in the charging coupler button. 2. Lock the padlock or combination lock

Wow Cody, I ordered mine on July 12th, No sticker yet but I do have an expected ETA of Oct 4th. Wonder why yours is so far ahead of mine and I ordered before you.

Check out this post from Fatwallet. You can get discounted rates. I've had a discounted rate for the past 2+ years. http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/355343/

Thanks Jeff_h, very helpful

From Murphy's post above the sticker is available a week before the build date or when the car is completed. Anyone know how quickly cars are shipped? Do they ship daily, weekly etc?

Larry, I believe the only difference between the 2014 and 2015 models is the addition of daytime running lights. There are some new color choices but for features I believe that's it. I did select the driver assist package as I do see the benefit of the blind spot warning(BLIS) when changing lanes. I didn't want the lane departure warning and the rest of the options in the package but you couldn't just get the BLIS by itself. I have done some reading and it seems that some of the advanced warning features such as BLIS do actually reduce accident rates. If you can get a 2014 at a discount vs the 2015 and you can get the colors etc you want, I'd go for it.

I ordered a Energi Titanium on the 12th, the order was placed with Ford on the 14th and as of today there isn't a delivery date yet. Wazer, when did you order yours?

No spoiler-delete option for 2015 FFE Titanium?
looking372 replied to musicmafia's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
I ordered one this past Saturday and the dealer confirmed no delete option. Which was a bummer because I really didn't want the spoiler but wanted the Titanium. Looks like I'm getting a spoiler
