Would this battery/solar operated generator: http://www.amazon.com/Goal-Zero-31901-XX-Large-Generator/dp/B007Q23YC6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1402504684&sr=8-2&keywords=yeti+1250+solar+generator#productDetails give the energi a full charge? Let's assume the generator has a full charge (since ultimate power source can be wall, solar, etc). Let's also not consider price (My calculations show it would take 5.5 years to make this particular unit pay for itself in fuel savings). My energi has about a 40 mile roundtrip commute each day. It arrives at it's destination with 0 EV miles remaining. Parking space is nowhere near an outlet, so charging from conventional sources is not an option. If a generator such as the one above was kept in the car, and had a full charge, would it have the necessary power to give the vehicle a full charge using a 110 charging cord and having 9 or so hours to charge? Doing so would allow the vehicle to do a full roundtrip commute without using fuel. Thanks!
