I agree it is dumb however, Toyota doesn't really believe in EV cars they are now betting big on Hydrogen cars i bet it has something to do with their hybrid synergy driver powertrain. If they made EV cars they wouldn't be ujsing the HSD which they pumped tons of money into via R&D. Hydrogen will be practical for cars in about 5-10 years however electric cars are almost practical now and PHEVs are very practical given they have decent range. When it comes to technology Toyota needs to catch up but still they are very solid reliable cars and at this point i believe that's the only reason people still buy them because they trust them

Wow that's a crazy story i hope they fix your car I too have looked to see if any issues with these cars and it seems like there are a fair amount of off the wall make no sense issues with the fusion energi............ It must be because of the complex computers and electronics maybe Ford can get all this ironed out on the next redesign in the mean time i hope all is well with the car and nothing else occurs with it and if you don't already have a ESP go out and get one if you plan on keeping both of them

If/When I decide to purchase i am going to opt for the ESP for a few reason some which i will not get into here but one of the major reasons is like everyone said the electronics of the car there are so many of them and with how sloppy programmers are there are sure to be a few bugs IMO i looked at the ESP from floor ford and would go with one of them if/when i make the jump Still waiting on the dealer to come down in price on the car they want $28,500 i want to pay $27,000 its a CPO that has every single feature

That's very true BTW Ohio sucks for EV credits we get absolutely no state credits for anything really so anything would be the fed credit which cannot be used on pre-owned cars which is kinda a bummer

not really sure never been to carmax...... Got multiple different appraisals from different dealers thus far the highest is $18,500

Hey Dag what would you be willing to take for this fusion? I never had to get a loan for a private party deal or sold a car that had a note on it however i am looking into a fusion energi i found one at a local dealer a '15 fully loaded with all the options that you can possibly get for $27k. It seems the market for this car is pretty soft, I would however have to sell ym current car in order to buy yours just not sure of all the logistics

I checked out the Flood Ford ESP and it looks like the 6 year 125,000 would be the one for me im not sure about the deductible though maybe i will go with a $100 one as a "just in case" measure

Awesome! It's nice to see that these cars are going for that long similar to Toyota cars it's very reassuring. If the numbers work out i will be purchasing the car then of course i will be buying an extended warranty i don't have the best luck with cars and little annoying things breaking on me for no reason........... had some of that with my Camry but never with my Corolla weird.....

Wow s a bunch of happy owners. i love my car besides the hard seats and i would love to find a left over one for cheap however in my area there are barely any new ones here in Cleveland, OH that are fully loaded like this one. If i bought this i was going to buy the extended warranty with it because i have not had the best of luck with Ford products so i am a bit hesitant to pull the trigger considering i have never had any mechanical issues with my Toyota my daily commute is anywhere from 45 miles to 80 miles a day and only can charge at home on a 110v i guess i could put in a 220v i just don't know if the cost would be worth it. How many of you are charging only once a day and driving these kinds of distances. also when i drove one i only drove in hybrid mode the dealer had depleted the battery and was getting 45MPG which was really nice i just want to make sure this car will hold up for about 200k miles..... Hello, I have been going back and forth on buying one for awhile. I currently have a 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE and i am looking to get rid of due to seat comfort issues. I took a FFET fully loaded with everything you can get on it today and they are asking $29,900 for it. It has 13k miles on it i was going to try to get the dealer down to 27,900 just wondering how everones Fusion is holding up i had 2 fords in the past and both have been really bad just don't want the same thing to happen. Also cross shopping between the 2015 Acura TLX and 2015 Avalon Hybrid Touring just a FYI thanks

I have 2 jobs one which is only 4 miles away eachway and the 2nd is a driving job that is anywhere from 60-100 miles daily i am guessing i would only becharging once (overnight) there are a few things honestly preventing me from buying this car. Made in Mexico...........last Mexican car i got was a '07 Chevy HHR i know it was a different make however, the car was a nightmare. GM would do nothing for me although the car had massive issues including the engine blowing at 20k also the steel for the doors seems really thin and cheap on the fusion for example when closing the door it almost sounds hollow not the thud sound when closing some other makes or car door i know it may sound silly but just an observation

My last Toyota was a corolla drove it for 150k nothing but oil changes and my mom had a Camry and corollary with 300k plus the Toyota seem pretty reliable I'm just apprehensive because the newer tech and amount of money

I drove a energi titanium with nav and sunroof I like the cat but I am currently driving a '12 Camry hybrid I am wondering what do you think the overall reliability of this car will be compared to the toyta because Ford is not really known for reliable cars also I was quoted $33,200 on the fusion after all rebates excluding the tax credit and trade before tax is this a good price?
