About TRILLS

  1. I have this exact same issue...After a long drive my ICE decides not to turn off and go into EV mode. I then start to get an warning indicator "High Motor Temperature" in stop and go traffic... Did you ever figure this issue out? My ford Dealership couldn't replicate it. An there are no codes that pop up in the OBDII reader. What doesn't help is that I also need a new transmission too, but at $7400 I'm not trying to find out that I need another $XXXX to fix this over heating issue. my car is a 2014 and has 200k miles on it. I'd rather send it to the scrap yard. FORD doesn't know if the Transmission issues and overheating issues are related.

So last week i picked up a Sterling Grey FFE.. My mother has a 2013 FFH and I love driving that car so much so that i decided to get the FFE. My moms car gets about 39.6MGP which isn't bad for the commute we do. I drive 67 miles to work (85%hwy and 15%City) one way. Right now i'm very happy with my MPG/MPGe. On my MYFORDMOBILE im getting 58.7MPG to work and 50.8 from work to home. I'm still learning the driving techniques of this car for max MPG. Right now i am using the EV for get to and from my house to the Highway (2EV miles) and to and from my work to the Highway (4 EV miles). The rest is spent in EV later modeecpt for the other 14 EV miles i use for getting up the bigger hills and switch to EV later at the apex... Seem to work really good for supplementing the High driving conditions.. Ideally i would love to see number is the 60's but my long highway commute might take too much... I was really happy this weekend to drive around town were i live and stay in ev mode to whole time!!! This car rocks!! I got the: - Heated/cooled seats - Heated Stearing Wheel - Tech Pkg (lankeeping, BLIS...ect) - Adaptive cruise - Rear inflatable Seatbelts - Park Assist Cheers, Luis
