  1. If you don't have an at home charger I would recommend the hybird instead. There's really no point in owning a plugin car without being able to plug it in!!!
  2. The back of your seat is supposed to get hot. The cooled seats use a thermoelectric module called a Peltier. So long as the fan is spinning its all good... One side gets hot and the other side gets cold when electricity is applied. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermoelectric_generator
  3. Strange my 2013 Fusion Hybrid kept each of the volume channels (Promp, sirius, etc) separate and at their last set setting. My 2015 Fusion Energi doesn't. The prompt volume chages to the music volume and vice versa all the time. :(
  4. No speed limit signs here on the Canadian version... Will see what happens when a friend and I are off to Buffalo this weekend.
  5. Well I think Ford is definetly doing the right thing with value charge. The car ABSOLUTELY should return the battery to a more favorable SOC immediately upon being plugged in to preserve its lifespan and do the bulk of the charging during the value charge profile times.
  6. Honestly though I do agree with them taking those things away. If they're real complaint drivers don't confuse people and just take them out...
  7. Thanks! Got ForScan working here on Android with a bluetooth ELM 327 adapter... I can read the values easily. Just disappointing the table view doesn't show multiple modules at once. Will try reading it next time the car is doing it. Hasn't done it since.
  8. Hi, So I'm noticing yeah its warm out but nothing too hot and EV now is frequenty unavailable. I would say sure maybe the battery is too hot even though its only about 20c here in Toronto... But what doesn't make sense to me is why would the car cycle the engine on an off in stop and go traffic? It cycled on for about a minute then off for about 20 3 times in my 1 hour home commute. SOC was 65%, car usually at a stand still. Obviously the Energy flow screen on MFT was no help saying 'Engine on due to Normal Operation'. Does anyone know if there is a code in ForScan to read that has the real reason?
  9. The Fusion's backup camera performs excellently in low light situations. Its still bright and easy to see things behind the car / where you're going.
  10. Would have been cooler with a dual colour battery too... When you turn on AC / Heat the top portion of the remianing battery could change to purple or something showing you're going to use 18% to keep the cabin cold / hot.
  11. If anything they should have just switched it to a percentage then... Lots of people with Android phones love seeing their battery as a percentage, myself included.
  12. Well just like the 2013's -> 2014's of the FFH they took out the lifetime summary so people would stop complaining their actual MPG doesn't match the window sticker. Maybe ford did something similar... Just takeout the misleading range staring at people in the face and hide it away. Maybe they just shouldn't have rounded it up so much and just left out like 3 mi / 5 KM and had people like ' Oh sweet its still driving in EV with 0 range ' instead of showing 50 drop to 35 in the first 2 minutes. Either way thanks to everyone's help I'm just going to live with it... Probably as expected, some dealer appointments end with fixes and some end with more problems, so I'm not really looking for more problems if you get what I mean.
  13. Meh I've pretty much given up... I know about how far I can go with the battery remaining and it just seamlessly switches to hybrid. I'll live.
  14. So after associating the key in with My Ford mobile app still no change and the range is not displayed ontop of the 3D battery icon. Will try a MyKey but I'm not holding my breath. Very curious if the 2016's exhibit similar behaviour.
  15. Thanks for the picture Doug0716... Real strange. So I programmed a key on the MyFord Mobile app and it said something along the lines for better range prediction. Will try tomorrow morning to see if its showing.
  16. Yeah that would be awesome, just a reel built into the car click and you can pull it out.
  17. Yes from my experience with the FFH you do need a relay harness and for better results a HID capacitor. Because the DRL's run at reduced voltage and the car turns off the bulb when the turn signls are going, you'll get your HID clicking on and off which isn't good for them. Driver's side bulb connection -> HID Capacitor -> Relay harnes -> L Ballast -> R Ballast Going to do my FFE sometime next week once my LED parking lights come in.
  18. Thanks fro the reply... The fill isn't really white its just way the picture was taken, I'll try Imperial units and see what happens... I did try it, but didn't leave it on Imperial for any amount of time.
  19. Yeah it was just in accessory mode to take the picture. Driving all yesterday and today and still no range displayed ontop of the battery. My guess is they took it out due to fluctuating numbers. A percentage # then would have been nice.
  20. Thought I would check here first, maybe the 2014's / 2015's dont do it for some reason? Seems strange to me though...
  21. The right arrow does nothing, those settings (like I had in the 2013 FFH) for regen indicator, arrows etc are moved to the main Settings panel.
