Hi there! My lease is up on my 2011 Nissan LEAF, so I leased a 2014 black Fusion Energi last week with tan leather interior. I have a short commute, and a young family. I loved my LEAF, but found it difficult to drive long distances without extensive planning, which is hard with toddlers in the car. I only put about 9,000 miles on my LEAF in 3 years! I had received one of the first 2,000 LEAFs in the U.S., so I'm pretty accustomed to the battery features, however, it's an adjustment only to have a 21-mile battery with the Energi. I've had the Energi a week, and seem to be trickle charging every other day, running only on EV around town and to/from work. I did have a modified 220 cord for the LEAF, but it just stopped working recently. With the smaller Energi battery, I don't really think the 220 vs. 110 as much of an issue, though. I did have my first negative with the Energi. The engine light came on, and it only has 290 miles so far. It's a bit of a hassle to bring it into the dealer to check it out, but I don't really have a choice. cinmar my Energi is powered by 4.9 kWh SunPower PVs
