Great forum. I just bought a 2014 Energi Titanium in Sterling Grey. I have been looking at the Fusion Energi ever since a bank of level 2 chargers was installed in my garage at work but was going to wait until I had the time to research chargers and to add a dedicated line in the garage (my garage only has 1 outlet that is taken up with garage door opener, freezer, and TV). The reason I bought early was because of the 0% financing and the fact that the California carpool stickers for plugs in will probably run out in April or May (36,000 of the 40,000 available carpool stickers were issued by the end of Feb. and they around 2500 to 3000 are being issued a month: with a 4-6 week backlog to get the stickers, waiting any longer means likely not getting a carpool sticker). Actually, once I realized the stickers may already be gone because of the application backlog, I jumped the gun and bought the Fusion (I would have bought anyway but the carpool sticker was the kicker for me). I bought the car with the stickers on it already (somehow, the dealer I went to had stickers for all their energis/ other dealers didn't) but don't have anywhere to plug it in at home yet. I have been scouring the forum (already got some good info) and the internet for options but need to find an electrician to set up the dedicated line first. If anyone has had a good experience with an electrician for this kind of work in Southern California (LA/Orange County), I would appreciate a referral. So far the car has been great. I will wait to get past the first 1000 miles to comment on mileage since so far I am getting around 31 mpg (but again, first 100 miles and based on no charge since I can't charge at home yet).
