About comike

  1. I sold my FFE and bought a CPO Tesla Model S. I have a Clipper Creek LCS-25P with a NEMA L6-30 plug that I purchased new in 2014. I paid $600 for it new. It's in very good condition and I don't need it any more. I'll take $200 for it including shipping anywhere in the US. PM me if you are interested. Mike Mods - If this isn't in the right place, please feel free to move it.
  2. Mine actually corrected itself after a week or two. I didn't take any action -- it just started working again all by itself.
  3. It's sad that the dealers are so poorly informed. It should work. You may need to remove the car and re-add it, but I didn't have to.
  4. Do you think it's a result of something you did, or did it just start working by itself?
  5. Really? I can't think of any other way to describe someone that makes a remark like that to someone that's just trying to help.

  7. Go Times stopped working for me post-replacement, but only until I realized the schedule had gotten turned off somehow. I turned it back on and now Go Times are working again. If the worst thing that happens as a result of this upgrade is the remaining miles are broken, I'm personally not at all concerned. I'm sure there are some who depend on this functionality for something, but not me. Remote start/stop/lock/unlock/level-of-charge and Go Time setting works at least as well as it used to (possibly better) and that's all I really need. I'm very happy.
  8. Yes, that seems to be the case with me as well. Stuck at 22 miles of EV range even though the battery is at 0% right now.
  9. Wow! Glad I went when I did. It took them two days to get it.
  10. Had my modem replaced last week. I called and scheduled the appointment prior to receiving the letter. I confirmed that they saw the FSA and asked them to order the part in advance so I didn't need to make multiple visits. They confirmed that a new part was required, ordered it, and called to confirm for me that the part had arrived prior to the visit. It's working fine and MyFordMobile seems to update very quickly now. The FSA number (15N04) should be all that you need to give them -- and you shouldn't even need to give them that as it should be already added to your VIN. It very clearly says that a new part is needed. I'd call them back and ask to speak to someone else if they give you the same story.
  11. Our car is being serviced right now for an intermittent heating failure. Sounds very similar. Fan blows but the air coming out of the vents is cold. I believe the part they are replacing is called a "coolant heating unit" or something like that. Part is going to take 3 - 5 days to arrive. I'll post more once I can confirm.
  12. I hope you are wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if you are right. Par for the course with Ford.
  13. I didn't get the letter yet, but I went ahead and set up an appointment for today and had them order the modem in advance. Fingers crossed...
  14. Perhaps to avoid filling our inboxes with a bunch of "not me" alerts, would it make sense to only post when we are contacted?
  15. I have pretty low expectations regarding availability timing. Our lease is up next June and I'd be surprised if we're able to have it replaced before then.
