My commute starts out going down hill immediately for two miles and the regen circle twirls the whole time even though my battery is full. Where is that juice going? I make a point of not using any accessories so I don't think I'm using up all that juice as it's being generated. Is the battery underutilized when new (e.g. 80% capacity) and gradually used more over the life of the vehicle (eventually 100%) to maintain a constant range on an aging battery like the Chevy Volt does? If so it would be a tempting hack target.

The adapter brick showed the red triangle when using any outlet throughout the house (without plugging in the car). Then the LEDs behaved erratically and sometimes were dimly lit while I tapped the adapter brick on a hard surface and eventually all the LEDs turned off even though it was still plugged into the wall. I think the adapter is malfunctioning and I'll see if the dealer will replace it. I use this adapter outside and I think it might need a little birdhouse or plastic bin to shelter it where it connects to the extension cord.

See picture. There's a red warning triangle with an exclamation lit up on my 110 volt charger adapter brick. Car is not charging now. I reseated the J1772 connector and unplugged the adapter brick to reset everything but there was no improvement. The smartphone app just says the car is waiting to charge.Value charge is off and car already synced. The blue ring lights up briefly so the car seems to know it's plugged in.

I got this message once, see below, about oil maintenance after only 312 miles. Maybe Ford wants to circulate the motor oil on occasion but I don't think enough miles are on the car for it to matter. Anybody know for sure what this message means? "Eng. Oil Maintenance" "Engine will run" Also, I don't understand why Ford would alarm people with messages about a critical fluid like motor oil. It's like blinking the oil pressure light while you're driving down the road. Some people would go to the dealer and waste a bunch of time.
