so what’s the trick to get the 100 MPGe? I have been driving the fusion energy to work ( 35 miles) and not charging during the day. my average is 55 MPG. is it possible to get 100 with longer rides and less EV run time? plus even with modest upgrade the ICE runs and puts the MPG at under 20. you would have to be in EV mode over 90% of the time to get close to 100 MPG

im also disapointed in the mpg i see. even on a little incline the gas engine gets under 20mpg. with numbers like this youve got to be in EV mode 90+% of the time to even get close to 100 MPGe. I also drive about 35 miles one way and dont charge at work. my avg was about 55mpg past couple days.

Indeed cool! I'm looking to get a pre-owned car. Does that mean when I set up my view I'll see the previous info of how the car was driven?

not having a ford yet, what is MFM and what does it do? are my worries off base? in short i dont want someone to see/know my location, speed, distance traveled. also security worries me... in case of a hacker gettign in (wallmart and others) i dont want people to know when im not home, how far i am, or when im headed back.... or where home is even !

Murphy – that’s what I am worried about, the cellular transmission of car data, speed, distance, gps location… all goes to Ford servers that then post it in a pretty UI of a web page or mobile device. Regardless Ford has records of all this… and there is no way to opt out of this tracking. Jeff H – if I understood the details of what ford has in the disclaimer then to prevent data capture and tracking I am not allowed to enable/ use SYNC at all. Both instances are just plain wrong. What a world we live in devoid of freedom of choice.

I am learning about my ford mobile and how it knows details about trips taken in the car and where you went. Also about all the issues about it not knowing when its home and following the desired behavior with regards to charging and the like. I don’t like internet/ phone companies tracking my usage details and hate that it seems now the fusion energi will too. Does anyone know if this is the case and how this works? Does ford keep a database of our details?

I am getting my energi from a lease agent not a dealer. if i have issues such as this can i take it to my nearest dealer who supports energi cars for software updates/ service? as we all part of the Ford family? how does this work? ford dealers near me don’t carry or are stopping to carry/ support energi because of too much overhead and no demand... go figure

What's a tsb? I'm getting my car tomorrow and want to make sure it's got the current software updates - if that even makes sence Can the car auto update over wifi like an iPhone?

Every dealer either doesn't sell any, doesn't have any, or isn't authorized to sell/ service them because of low demand. I don't think I'm the only smart guy in the state (ny/nj) but is makes me nervous that it seems no one gets these! Is the cold weather a deal breaker? I feel like I'm missing something here.

Yes it's dumb to leave a slit that thin as a pass through. You can't even get a snowboard in there. If only the battery was lower to allow more of a pass through area... Ohh well

If in understand these posts then it seems like breaking regenerates the battery charge way way faster than plugging into the wall with 120v Is this true?

If the battery is drained, can breaking we'll regenerate any EV mileage? How many or how effective is this?

For reinforcement I stopped at another ford dealer and was quoted a 24 month lease with 10.5 K miles and zero down lease payments under 300$ Is this even possible? They said msrp is 36K on the car
