I don't care for it enough to pay for it.

I want a small PHEV truck. Make it happen, Ford!

I've got dimes that fell into the armrest outlet. Doesn't seem to hurt anything fortunately, but it is annoying.

I want a Ford Ranger sized PHEV truck.

I'm waiting for a Ford Ranger sized 4x4 PHEV. I would buy that in a Net York Minute. -
Wow, sorry to hear it.

Getting the fever...any downsides to Fusion Energi?

I had the same experience with my Camry Hybrid. No problems, brake pads never needed replaced after 120k miles. -
Homemade Charger - Talk me out of it
rtshinn replied to Mike Antonoff's topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
I, and others are building/have built this kit: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/emw/emw-juicebox-an-open-source-level-2-ev-charging-st $99 w/out cable/connector (I got a cable/connector for $96 on Amazon) I haven't finished mine (even though it's not that difficult, I've just been bery busy getting married, woking on my house, etc.), but others have and like it. You can also get it in various stages of asssembly Check out the thread on the C-Max Enrgy forum -
For your driving habits, FFH

The best use for me would be EV for commuting, ICE for weekend projects. Ahhhh..... if only... Oh, and $45k or less.

I want a Energi Ford Ranger. Or as a second choice an Energi F150.

Fusion Energi eligible for the FMPP (prepaid mtce pkg)?

What is FMPP and what is mtce? -
When I use the L1 charger at my fiance's house, the charger itself sits in the garage. I close the door on the cable (yep), and plug-in end sits outside in all kinds of weather (Ohio). No problems.

Still priced terribly.

So, at .08/kwh that's about 32 cents worth of electricity. Ugh.. Overall, how do you like your solar power setup? I live in Ohio, so we don't get a heck of a lot of sun

I think that's exactly what happened to me about two days ago, looking back. I opened the door, then turned off the car. Car didn't charge at 220v

Navigation -- Car's location not accurate
rtshinn replied to mikenmar's topic in Audio, Navigation & SYNC
There were planty of TSA's for the C-Max Nav system and it took a while for the problems to get resolved. Nav issues were a big disappointment for me, but everything seems to work ok now. I still have the system freeze up and self-reboot once in a while, but the Nav works pretty well. -
I noticed the same, and usually drive with the windows down. Pretty low-tech. lol

Good, I've been using Turbotax since at least 1998

Looks like my Juicebox has shipped! It's the basic kit. Hopefully, I won't melt any parts with my soldering iron.

At what point is it cheaper to use gas?
rtshinn replied to Energized's topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
Electric here is 7 cents and 8 cents at my other place. Also, I live in Ohio which has below average sunny days. Still, solar has been plummeting in price, and it may be practical here with tax credits, etc. -

If electricty was above .25, I would not have bought a plug-in. Here it is .07. At .25 and above I'd be installing Solar panels ASAP, not just for charging. I'd also be reading by candlelight during peak hours, lol
