  1. 2017 and 2018 models that have ACC include the stop and go functionality. ACC is only standard on the Platinum trim for those years. Came as an option on SE & Titanium.
  2. ACC will put the brake lights on when slowing down significantly. L will not.
  3. I keep my jump start battery pack in the back seat to avoid having to get the trunk open. Knock on wood, my 12v battery has yet to die! Also, fortunately the new keyfob for 2017 makes it much easier to access the physical key.
  4. Thanks for the video, thinkcooper. I don't see the "ECO" indicator on the car icon, so is the ACC with stop and go acting more aggressive? Wonder what its brake scores are like. :)
  5. meyersnole is correct in that the friction brakes are used 100% while in reverse, contrary to drive where regen braking is used primarily. If you're a gentle driver, the brake pads will take longer to break-in (no pun intended,) and the noises in the situations you are describing is normal.

    E15

Has anyone ever filled up with E-15 gas? (15% ethanol) Owners manual says "Use only UNLEADED gasoline or UNLEADED gasoline blended with a maximum of 15% ethanol in your gasoline vehicle." I try to stick to ethanol free gas for maximum miles per tank but it does come at an added cost. E10, especially E15 is quite a bit cheaper, but not sure how much the MPG will drop by using it and if it's detrimental to engine life or performance. I'm about halfway through my lease.
  7. Thanks for posting! 3.8 will be the first update to MFT in my car. Looking forward to trying out Siri Eyes Free!

    Second One

I only have fogging issues when I leave in the morning with a pre-conditioned car. The heat inside makes it fog up very easily. When I leave work in the afternoon with a cold car, I have no problems with fogging. I have set the My Temp to be LO so that it's easy to activate climate without heat. To deal with fogging when it happens without using too much power, I press My Temp, fan speed 1, face, defrost. This allows air from outside to flow to the windows without forcing the A/C or heater on. You'll see very little power draw from climate while this is on and your windows will clear shortly! I then toggle the climate power on/off for when the windows start to fog up again.
  9. Do all Energi's have GPS clock settings? Or do you have to have navigation in order to have the clock set by GPS?
  10. My 2015 came with v3.7.11 from the factory and the website is saying I've got the latest version.
  11. Impressive! I tried to be fuel efficient on my trip to Indiana yesterday, and was for the most part. But I spent too much time there and got really tired on the long drive back late last night. Ended up learning that the cruise control maxes out at 103 MPH. :superhero:
  12. From all of your feedback, I have come to the conclusion that it's not safe to drive that much less than the posted speed limit. With that in mind, I'm going to plan some trips avoiding the interstate, sticking to the backroads which have limits of only 55. :) Then I can save some more fuel and enjoy the beautiful countryside a bit more.
  13. I love to be efficient and get as many MPGs as possible on the highway with the cruise control. My previous '09 Accord was rated at 30 MPG on the highway, but I got much better than that by setting the cruise control at 60 MPH if I wasn't in a hurry. That speed gave me an average of 37 MPG, which really helped me get more miles out of a tank. Highways here have speed limits of 65/70 MPH, so I just poke in the right lane and let everyone, including the semi trucks, fly by me. Now with this Fusion Energi, it has the potential to be even more efficient at lower speeds. I've done one round trip about 60 miles away at 60 MPH and got about 45 MPG. On my last 60 mile round trip to Iowa City, I was able to to average 53-65 MPG  in hybrid mode alone with the cruise control set to 50 MPH. Underneath each speed limit sign, a minimum speed of 40 MPH is listed for the interstate. I feel that I'm comfortably above that but so many people zoom by. I even got a friendly finger as someone hovered behind me, thinking I was going to get off at an exit, but instead I continued on. Does anyone else take this approach to efficiency when highway cruising? or do you simply not have the time for it? Am I crazy? Do I piss people off? I'm amazed that I've gone almost 900 miles using only 7 gallons of gas in this car.
  14. I see. That's disappointing. I wonder if anything changed for 2015.
  15. It can't be 2G anymore. AT&T stopped certifying 2G M2M devices and they also stopped activating ones that were already certified. http://cd2migration.att.com/pdf/2G_Sunset_FAQs_2014_A1.pdf http://www.m2mpremier.com/uploadFiles/Aeris_1113_whitepaper.pdf The early Focus Electric's may have been 2G, but I would hope that the majority of the Energi's are 3G. Would love to have someone from Ford IVT Team chime in here.
  16. I can confirm, from my recent purchase, that the current amount is $3,557 for MY2015.
  17. Maybe this would have been a good time to hold the lock button on the remote to get all the windows closed instead.
  18. Please see my forum signature for the options included on my vehicle. MSRP: $41,000 X-Plan: $38,551.68 Incentives: $3,557 federal tax credit, $500 recent graduate Final Cost: $34,494.68 I feel good about getting 15.9% off sticker for such an incredible car! I was a little disappointed though that the tax credit dropped this model year from $4007 to $3557, though. This car still puts a huge smile on my face every time I hop in. :)
  19. Joatnm, Murphy is right. My ETA was Wednesday but it didn't show up until Friday and the dealer literally doesn't know anything until they see it with their own eyes arriving on the truck.
  20. Here it is! I absolutely love the new wheels.
  21. TODAY WAS THE DAY! :D I'm so excited, I'm speechless. It's too much to handle right now.
  22. Thanks for those great tips, jeff_h! While I was there today, I was told that part of my dealers PDI is to drain the oil and put fresh oil in, so I shouldn't have a problem there. Per your advice, I will definitely give the car a good look over ensuring both key fobs work, and that all mats and the charging cable are present. Good idea to check under the hood to make sure things are completely installed as well.
  23. Stopped by my dealer at 4pm this afternoon, still no car. :banghead: They still show the ETA as being today, but it's possible that it will be delivered after regular business hours. Fingers crossed for my delivery phone call tomorrow. It sucks that they still consider the given date an estimate, even though it's today. I probably only have 2 gallons of fuel left in my Accord, and I don't want to have to add more. Can't wait to be gas free on the weekdays!
