  1. Thanks, Hybridbear. I can't quite make out the error message in that picture, though. What does it say? Kim
  2. There's no rush. Just let me know if you need assistance with anything. :) Kim
  3. Hi murphy, I received similar feedback from other owners yesterday. It sounds like you weren't alone in this. I'm glad you were able to run the report successfully. Thank you for sharing. Have you had a chance to try again, Hybridbear? Kim
  4. Hey SamanthaCycles, Like howardbc and Energized mentioned, the MyFord Touch system is designed to start up on the home screen. There are currently no settings within the system that allow you to choose an alternative default screen. Kim
  5. Just like the behavior of your mobile phone, when it comes to coverage, your Fusion Energi will also function seamlessly in Canada when you cross the border. The data plan for your vehicle allows for connectivity in all of North America (as long as there is a cellular signal). Kim
  6. Hey Hybridbear, Good question! I'm not sure of the answer off hand, but I'll look into this and let you know what I find out. :) Kim
  7. Hey Apogee1, Meagan asked for me to chime in. On your MyFord Touch screen, press the 2 gears at the bottom of the screen, then press CLOCK. You'll be able to adjust the clock using the + and - buttons. Remember to choose AM or PM. Scroll down to see which clock options are available. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you should see an option to adjust the clock for daylight saving time (DST). It sounds like your system is functioning properly. Kim
  8. Hey everyone, What’s better than one In-Vehicle Technology representative on this forum? You guessed it; two! :) Rebecca and Kim are the official Ford representatives that will be handling inquiries regarding SYNC, MyFord/Lincoln Touch, navigation, and SYNC 3! If you’re not sure what SYNC 3 is, check out this announcement posted today: http://www.ford.com/technology/sync3/ You’ll see both of us jumping into threads to add helpful information, but you can always reach us directly at the FordIVTTeam account. Just send a DM and one of us will be happy to respond. Kim
  9. Hey Charles, I'm back! :) Even though there's a good chance you're right, I don't want to risk it and provide you with incorrect information. Did you have a chance to reach out to your local Customer Relationship Center yet? Kim
  10. Hi Charles, I'm Rebecca; filling in for Kim while she's out of the office. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if MyFord Mobile is available in the Netherlands. I suggest contacting your local Customer Relationship Center for more information. They can be reached at +31 (0) 20 504 4646. Rebecca
  11. Hey chevyguygonebad, If you never received that second confirmation message on your MyFord Touch screen, try deleting the VIN and adding it again. I recommend doing this from a computer instead of the mobile app. You'll need to accept the first message again from the screen in the Fusion, then accept the second one 24 hours later. Let me know if you never get that second message. Kim
  12. Hey Ford Fans, I’ll be out of the office tomorrow enjoying some delicious turkey with my family! I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. I’ll be back Monday to answer any questions you might have. Until then, enjoy the Holiday! :) Kim
  13. Hello Hardp, The vehicle does not produce a WiFi signal for your phone to connect to, but it does give you an opportunity to create a secure wireless network by using a USB broadband device, Bluetooth connection through your phone, or through a different WiFi hotspot. Check out this video to see how: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEnMNrKpqUw&feature=youtu.be Hey murphy, Compatibility information for USB broadband devices is very limited. We've tested the Sierra Wireless USB 598 (through Sprint) and Mercury USBConnect Mercury (through AT&T) and they both worked. These types of broadband devices are not as common as they used to be, but I certainly encourage you (and anyone else) to test it out if you already have one. Kim
  14. Hi HotLap, Which navigation SD card is currently in your vehicle? The SD card is spring loaded, so you can just press it to make the card pop out of the slot. Let me know which version you have. When the navigation system was showing you the incorrect routes, did the screen seem to be freezing at all? If so, a master reset should be performed by following these instructions: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync-myford-touch Kim
  15. Hi openair and murphy, What both of you have experienced sounds like normal behavior for the MyFord Mobile website. When a master reset is performed to the MyFord Touch system, the MyFord Mobile connection will also be deleted. You should have had to walk through the verification process again in order to gain control of the vehicle from your account. I'm glad everything is sorted out now, murphy. Let me know if I can help with anything. :) Kim
  16. Hey everyone, You may have heard me touch base on this topic before, but I thought it would be good to jump in anyway. When an update becomes available for the software in the MyFord Touch system, you will be prompted to update the software from our website at: www.Support.Ford.com which does not have a cost associated with it. Map updates for the navigation system are handled through our software partner named HERE. To check for available map updates, go to: www.Navigation.com and enter in the details about your vehicle. The website will list the current pricing information as well. If you have any questions about purchasing an update from them, feel free to reach out to HERE at: 1-888-628-6277 Kim
  17. It's my pleasure! It is also a good idea to check your navigation software. See if any updates are available at: www.Support.Ford.com after logging in. Even with older maps, you should be able to pull up points of interest. Let me know what happens when you attempt to do this and I'll help troubleshoot. Kim
  18. Hi Neil, If you give the commands NAVIGATION > DESTINATION > POI > CATEGORY, the system should ask if you'd like to search nearby or in a city. It sounds like MyFord Touch is waiting for you to select one of those before it will accept a category (such as AUTOMOTIVE) as a command. Check this out the next time you're in the vehicle and let me know what you find. Hello howardbc, Please provide the steps you take when attempting to pull up a POI. Where do you run in to trouble? Navigation updates are provided by our software partner called HERE. The easiest way to check if a map update is available for your vehicle is by entering the car's information at: www.Support.Ford.com The website will also have current pricing information. Kim
  19. Hi Hardp, Keep an eye out for software updates on your account at: www.Support.Ford.com to see if this feature becomes available for your vehicle in the future :). Kim
  20. Let me know what happens after you get the older text messages deleted completely and perform the master reset. What you're describing doesn't sound like normal behavior for the MyFord Touch system. Kim
  21. Hey lonzo71, This may have something to do with the software downloaded to your phone. When the phone isn't connected to SYNC, try playing your music and making a call. Once you hang up, does the music automatically play again? Do you only have this issue when your connected to SYNC? Kim
  22. Hey Dag, If the phone isn't automatically connecting to your system, try holding the POWER and HOME buttons on the phone until the Apple logo appears. Sometimes this soft reset will improve the connection to MyFord Touch and resolve that issue. I'm taking off for the night, but when I return on Sunday I'll see if I can replicate the calling concern. Are you running iOS 8.0.2? I'm glad to hear it, meyersnole! Hi SteveEnergi, This feature is dependent on the device, so the update may have altered the way your iPhone interacts with MyFord Touch. I'll check this out on Sunday as well and get back to you. Kim
  23. You're welcome. If I hear of a better workaround I'll certainly share it with you. I understand that manually changing the metadata can become tedious. I'm no expert on Windows Media Player, but I'll try my best ;)! Once you have the program open, you should see an option to CREATE PLAYLIST at the top. Click that link and you can name the new playlist. Drag songs from your music library to the playlist you've just created (I realize you may have already done this). Once you have the songs arranged in the order you want them in, click the LIST OPTIONS icon to see more options (on my screen, this looks like a tiny square with a blue check mark). Click SAVE LIST AS and switch the file type to .m3u and click SAVE. A quick Google search may provide some clarification as well :). Kim
