Hey I recently bought a used 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium. My first day driving the vehicle I noticed a pretty big problem. When my passenger seat was adjusted it would cause a bunch of electrical errors to occur. Parking brake system failure, downhill assist problems, I would lose power steering and ABS. Obviously check engine light would come on and the wrench icon that says take to maintenance. I took it back to the dealer I bought it from and it spent about a month in repair. This unfortunately didn’t fix the issue. They told me they replaced the gateway module. Good news was none of this was on my dollar however it was still frustrating that it didn’t get fixed. Would buying a new electrical harness for under the passenger seat be a solution. My thought was a bad wire/s could be getting turned the wrong way and causing all of the issues. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
