  1. So I was pushing my 2015 FFE coming back from Austin to Oklahoma City keeping up with a Shelby Mustang. Pushed it a little too hard but didn’t think anything of it until the check engine light started flashing and noticeably loss in power. It went off after a few miles but ever since then I feel the loss in power, especially in the get up and go. I’ve also noticed a significant drop in fuel mileage on EV later. I only get like 32-33MPG using fuel only, speeds around 50-65mph. Any thoughts? It’s not throwing a code and the dealership won’t even look at it. 67k miles.
  2. Thanks for this! Did you purchase the rear valence from the partsgeek.com?
  3. I saw this one, but dont you need one more piece that goes below that? Looking into trying to find one local from a salvage yard.
  4. Do you have links to both parts so I can see what you are talking about? And they're just interchangeable?
  5. I guess I had the album set to private. Should be fixed now!
  6. Pictures of the wheels with my second Energi.
  7. This is great! Where did you get the OEM dual exhaust and any modifications required?
  8. On the hybrid/energi trims... None. On the regular gas models for 2015+ theres a hidden tire pressure monitor gauge that gives each pressure of the individual tires and a digital speedometer. For 2013-2014 theres digital speedometer and an AWD gauge that shows what wheels are getting power and what not. The only thing I was able to do with the software on our cars was to disable the annoying honk when you get out of the vehicle with it still running.
  9. Well I have been working on my own set of headlights (I have no idea what I am doing) and I thought I would make a progress post. Its taking me FOREVER because of nursing school and work and now I am waiting on a part from overseas. Heres the list of items I bought for the build: OEM set of headlightsBi-Xenon: Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 with mounting brackets from FrenchySequential Switchback LED TubeH1: Morimoto Elite HID SystemKlearz 2013+ Fusion Smoked Headlight Markers First I baked open the headlights following the direction of this thread. [Then I took apart the headlight following the direction of this thread. I lightly sanded down each piece with a red scotch guard pad and painted them black. After drying, I attached the LED tube by drilling small holes and tying it with beading wire. Assembled the HID projector and re-assembled the headlight housing. I have only completed one headlight because the inverter I received for the DRL tube was bad. But here is a pic of a finished one that is still open. Heres a clip to show how the blinker works.
  10. For those interested, there has been success with changing out the headunits for the Sync 3 unit.
  11. I did see a mile or two drop in the EV range, but nothing drastic. I used the OEM TPMS whenever they installed the wheels.
  12. I never got around to lowering my car.. I actually ended up switching cars from the 2013 into a 2015. I did keep the wheels though. I am currently building a custom set of headlights, bought LED fogs, and the lighting firm carbon fiber grille.. So once I recoup from that I want to look into getting coilovers. Every Energi/Hybrid Ive seen rakes in the back and that would bother the heck out of me.
  13. Copied my thread over from 2GFUSIONS.net for those that are not members on there. For our cars, the only thing I have figured out that will work is disabling the DRL, and the double horn honk when you exit the vehicle with the ignition on. *Edit: FORScan 2.3.1 beta has a bug in it that kept giving me an error message. I had to email them and they sent out a link to download a fix and until they put out an update, you will probably have to email them if you encounter any errors. *Please note: This currently will not work for Hybrid/Energi models (Like myself). It appears that Ford did not write in support for speedometer and TPMS gauges for these trims. I want to thank Jason at fordpimods for spending a couple of hours troubleshooting and remoting in to my car to get it to work. I also want to thank DanMc85 for also helping out with the process. I know there has been a lot of interest in enabling the TPMS and digital speedometer in our cars so I thought I would share my experience. First you need a diagnostic scan/write tool such as the OBDLink MX. You can get it here from Amazon. While you're waiting to receive your device, go to the FORScan website, download the software, and register for an extended license. After this, make your way over to fordpimods and purchase the options that you want enabled. Jason will take care of you and help out in anyway he can. 1. Once you have your scanner device, connect it to the vehicle and to your computer. Open FORScan. 2. Click "Connect to vehicle". -> Meet conditions and click OK. 3. The device will read all of the modules available. 4. Under "Configuration and Programming", scroll down to the IPC module AS Built and click it. After its highlighted, click "Run service procedure". 5.Click "Load from file" ->It will open a directory for you to choose the file that you want to write to the car. I was using Parallels on my Mac so I placed it in the C drive to make it easily accessible. 6. Click "Write All" and voila! Your gauges should be enabled.
  14. So you can only see the pressures on an external display with a scan tool? Or you can scroll through the instrument cluster and it reads out each individual pressure?
  15. It cannot be done on the hybrid/energi trims. Just tried this last night. Check here: http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=4320
  16. Hello all! Old member, new car. Its been a long time since I have posted with being busy with work full time and nursing school full time. Previously I had a 2013 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium that I had leased with the plan on purchasing it (I only leased to take advantage of the tax credit immediately). Well my lease was up in November and when I went to purchase it, my contract buyout price was $27,786 and my bank stated that it was only worth $21,500 and thats the maximum they would finance it for. I was over my mileage of course so either way I was going to be out some money. Ford wouldn't work with me on lowering the contract price so I said screw it, you can have the car back and Ill get a new one. Heres the old one, removed the vinyl roof and vinyl off the grille and left the 5% tint. My account on credit.ford.com shows that the car went off to auction and sold to CarMax for $17,600. Really frustrating in my opinion that Ford could have just sold it to me instead of fighting the contract price but thats not how it works. Here it is on CarMax if anyone is interested! 2013 Ford Fusion Energi I worked it out with the dealer that when my new car arrived from Kansas to Oklahoma City they would swap out the factory wheels from the new car so I didn't have to deal with the wear and tear fees on the lease on top of finding the factory wheels I had sold. So someone is going to get a good deal on a used car with new wheels, new tires, and be unique because those wheels are new for the 2015+ Fusions. Here is the new one the night I picked it up: Its the exact same car, except its a 2015, Tuxedo Black Metallic, with 3 new added features which are cooled seats, heated steering wheel, and rear inflatable seatbelts.
