  1. Great comparison Jeff....I was using the 120v in my garbage with no issue except the time.... It was taking about 6 hours....about 2-3 weeks after I bought the car, I received my Siemen 240v charger and I LOVE IT...takes about 1 1/2 hours to charge completely..... Priceless on weekends!!
  2. Ive been calling MFM at LEAST once a week...they are really clueless to whats going on...I get the same response :"Engineers are working on it"......
  3. 7277- You are right. Most of the energis I saw at the dealership already had the sticker. Of course mine didn't so I wait
  4. HTTP- Yeah I checked and they are in ford's system just not on MFM....The guy helping me confirmed that the VIN was valid.... I have a feeling this is going to be a LONG DRAWN out process
  5. THanks Murphy.....FYI, my second charge with my new Siemens 240v charger only took 1hr 40 minutes to charge to 100% ( from a totally depleted battery )
  6. I will...Im just going to call every other day
  7. Fat Fusion- I purchased by Energi about 12 Days ago and am dealing with the same thing you are....my VIN is not recognized by MFM....I called and they said that my VIN is not on their database and they would have to add it...I was told 2-3 days top...AFter 3 days, I tried again and nothing. I called back and was told that an update would occur ( yesterday ) from 9am -3 pm and it should work then. The site was down until 9PM but still...nothing. I called again today. Iwas told they would continue working on it. This is just stupid now....adding a VIN number to a database is this hard? And why is it a different database?
  8. I got the Siemen 30 Amp 240v....paid $799 and I love it so far....about 2 hours to recharge my fusion
  9. Hmm....Well Im in California and purchased my 2014 Energi 11 days ago.....My dealer filled out the form for my HOV sticker and I just signed and they sent it for me.... Im a little worried now becuase some of you said that you have to wait for your permanent registration or plates....is my dealer on crack or maybe my dealer is just knows what they are doing? Also, is there a way to check the status of an ap with DMV?
  10. Thanks Murphy.....although it would seem realy odd if it was that low since I just got the car less than 2 weeks ago... Since it seems like it powered the 12v too, would it be logical to say that my next charge should be alot less since by 12v was just charged the night before?
  11. MFM is driving me crazy.....I purchased by Ford Fusion Energi about 2 weeks ago and it wont take my VIN...I called support last week and they said my VIN was not in there database and that this was not the first time,,,they said they would have it done in 2-3 days and they would call... Of course, I received no call after 6 days so I called back yesterday...I was told that there will be an update and maintenance from 9am - 3pm today and I should be able to register my car...well the site was done until about 9-10pm....went to enter the VIN and still NOTHING!!! Im going to call back tomorrow and see what the heck is going on
  12. Im not even closer to anything resembling an electrician and I just purchased my 2014 Ford Fusion Energi just two weeks ago...... But from what I can gather is that a level 3 charger is just one that take a 480v plug ( or hard wired ). As long as it has the j1772 connector, you should be good.....but most houses cant take th 480 plug?
  13. I got my Siemens today..install was easy..I already had an electrician install a 240v before I received the charger I love it so far ( got it for $799 on amazon ). The only thing I cant figure out is: at 1:50 minutes into the charge, my battery in the fusion was at 95%. The charger still showed CHARGING after 2:45 minutes and the car said in was 100% charged...the CHARGING light did not turn off until after 3 hours and 20 minutes....that's 1:30 minutes more for 5%. Is this typical for a 240v charge? ( this was my first 240 charge ) Thanks
  14. I purchased by 2014 Ford Fusion Energi about 2 weeks ago. The first three charges showed 21 miles when it was done. After that, I got a max of 18 miles using the 120v charger that came with the car. I am now using a 240v charger and Im still getting the 18 miles. Is anyone else experiencing this? I know its only 3 miles but that's 14% less than I was expecting and 3 miles x 5 days a week is 15 miles and for a month can be 60 miles! I read somewhere that the dealership can REBOOT the car and this might solve it. what is everyone else seeing for miles after a full recharge?
