About Jabby225

  1. update... got the car back this past wednesday... then took it for a 9 hour round trip weekend... it completely stalled out doing 75 MPH on the way up for the weekend. sat on the shoulder for about 5 minutes and then it restarted and finished the weekend trip without any problems. when first re-started, it had the engine light, wrench, and red triangle lights on. then when re-started after a night, just check engine light was on. then the second night i charged the battery and in the morning there were no bad lights on the dash. drove it the whole weekend without AC or anything plugged into the outlets in the car. today on ride back home we ran the AC and then also plugged in one iPhone. all good so far. we shall see how it does tomorrow after plugging in more stuff slowly.
  2. Anotehr day... another change... Not AC Compressor.... but the ACCM... Air Conditioner Control Module.
  3. Daily update for 7JUN.... Still five more to check but found out that the A/C compressor was shorting to ground... and drawing all the power from the car.
  4. As of today... Dealership has narrowed it down to 5 final modules... The suspense... is a killer!
  5. New owner of used 2014 FFET... Have had a couple small problems during first two weeks of ownership... and then the big one dropped. The car was dead in the driveway... figured it was 12V battery, swapped it out and car started fine once. Then was towed to the dealership... they ran the BMS and thought all was fine. then next morning they couldnt get it to start either. been in the shop for over a week now, and there is absolutely no power to the car. The dealership cannot even access the computer to check for codes. Apparently there are 40 modules in the vehicle and all have to be checked 'old-school' without any power, one at a time... And the dealership has no loaner vehicles available because there are soooo many parts on backorder from known problems with particular Ford models. Anyone else out there that has ran into this sorta situation with their FFE? And care to share how it turned out? The dealership cannot give any ideas for where this will get to as far as parts, labour or cost. -Jabby225
  6. New owner of used 2014 Energi Titanium. From NY-PA-VA.. Slowly discovering all the little things that are 'quirky' or broken / doesnt work quite right on a 9 year old PHEV... Already found some answers/leads here on the forum. Look forward to finding and providing much more useful advice! -Jabby
  7. Brand new to the forum, brand new to Fusion Energi.... Bought my 2014 used just recently and am having the issue with the engine light coming on and fuel door closure alert. Did the searches on here and found out that my fuel door is missing the magnet altogether. Does anyone know the actual size of the magnet? or where one could purchase the actual magnet? Have looked on "ford parts" pages but nothing listed. Thanks!
