EV is simpler than E-9 because there is no tiering of rates. They stay the same no matter how much you use. Did you look at the bottom of page 1 and the top of page 3? It lists the total rate for EV-A and EV-B, respectively. What you are looking at is how the rate breaks down into all its subcomponents. One big difference is that EV has a peak during summer and winter, whereas the E-9 rate had a peak only during summer. The difference between the two rates will be highly dependent on your useage patterns and volume of electricity you use overall, so it's kind of hard to say.

At what point is it cheaper to use gas?
TechOps replied to Energized's topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
Agree with rtshinn. If it's practical for you, you might want to think about installing solar. It will change the economics of the situation and encourage you to be fossil-free. -

I spoke with another Ford rep this morning. They told me that they wanted me to pull & replace Fuse #10 (it is the same fuse for #10/11, so pull the one marked as #11 on the fuse box below the instrument console). This did the trick and I'm back online. I asked if it was a common problem, and they said it's not common per se but they do see it from time to time, and they're working on a fix. BTW, whoever designed the fuse box placement should have their automotive engineering credentials revoked...

Hi, I tried to delete the vehicle from both the Android app, as well as the website, for MFM. No success on either -- in both cases, it logged me out and when I logged back in, the vehicle was still there. I called up the Ford helpline, and they walked me through a system reset. (By the way, it removed all my nav settings and saved places -- but not radio presets.) That did nothing to help, and the app is still acting the same. There are clearly some major quality issues in the software that Ford is using for their backend platform. Hopefully they will be able to resolve this soon.

Can you post a link please? the only thing I found was the delayed reboot USB file from the ford fusion hybrid forum. Tried that but it didn't help. Remember that I upgraded Sync versions recently, which included numerous reboots and resets - didn't help with this issue that had started a few days prior.. :(

Last weekend I was driving up to my family reunion in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Once I got far enough off route 50 to lose cell phone signal, my Fusion Energi stopped phoning home... It hasn't connected to My Ford Mobile since, and I can't track it or send it any commands. The vehicle locator still shows the spot where it lost coverage on Saturday. I upgraded Sync to the latest firmware yesterday, and was hoping that would fix it.... no luck. :(

I also still have my Nokia 6190 "grey brick" phone. It's iconic, though I can't get the battery to hold a charge. Like everything heavily technology focused, the '13 Fusion Energi will be iconic, yet quaint.. we're going to laugh at the 21 mile range. Speaking of which, as tech improves, the only think that would make me want to keep it long term is a retrofit kit for a longer range battery pack.

Has anyone else experienced this? at 72 degrees, the climate control pumps out pretty cool air, slightly uncomfortable with short sleeves, but in hot weather generally ok. When I hike it up a degree to 73, the air almost totally shuts off, the interior gets stuffy over the next 20 minutes, and it generally is way too hot? I feel like Goldilocks here, but it's really weird and happens with a variety of outside temperatures. Is this is a problem with my car, or is the calibration /software used for climate control just generally not very good?

I found ambient lighting controls in the dash setup but.. my Energi Titanium doesn't seem to have the lights.. This was a removed feature, correct?

Are there pics of these new colors anywhere? I'm curious since I really like the bordeaux color, wondering what they're replacing it with.. -

My list is pretty similar to the OP's: - ordered the screen protection for MFT - planning on tint. My last two cars had 20-30-50 which I like. - floor mats : bought the all-weather mats for $75. Not sure if this was a good call since this is my first Ford. We'll see. - Bought the Ford Premium ESP from Flood Ford online. 7 years /100k miles. - Probably not going to do any paint protection, just keep that baby waxed. Supposed to pick up my Energi tomorrow or the day after, so excited!

Interesting text review. I got annoyed by the video 1/2 way through and couldn't watch any more.. YMMV.
