  1. For some reason the Value Charge settings have now cleared and it is now set to Charge Now. Strange. No 12v battery issues, no fuse pull, no Sync system reset performed… I really have no idea why it is set to Charge Now.
  2. Hello — Thanks for all the info and explanation. Looks like someone already provided you pics. Nevertheless, below is a video I just created after a Master Reset and then disconnecting the negative in the 12v. Still no luck working. Funny thing is that the Master Reset cleared the values, but I still couldn’t get an update to save. I then disconnected the negative and the old values returned on Sync restart. I’ll look into the Sync 3 option. I have 98k miles on the car - but it is the perfect commuter car here in SoCal - so I might just do it and maybe get some kind of renewed High Voltage battery as well. Thanks again
  3. Thanks for the response cr08. That seems so odd: Sync 2 requires a server request to update a value stored locally. Seems like a very poor design for a car's software. They should at least provide a software patch that can be applied locally with a thumb drive or allow Sync2 to use a Wifi connection. So frustrating... I am not paying $500 for the modem/install. Just curious though, if I disconnect the 12v battery I would expect the radio presets to be wiped out and that is not happening as well. What is storing those values? I am assuming no power is available since the 12v is needed to access the High Voltage battery (at least according to some other posts I have read). Thanks again for your response.
  4. Hi all -- I am looking for some suggestions on how to address updates to the Value Charge settings not being saved. I did see the other threads on this issue and followed the suggestions of pulling fuse 10 and disconnecting the 12v battery. Pulling the fuse has worked in the past, but for some reason I can't reset the system with either method now. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what to try next? I am signed up for Time-of-use electricity billing, but I can't set my Value Charge to those times. Really frustrating me now. I have a 2014 Fusion Energi with 98K miles. I would appreciate any help that can be provided. Thanks
