  1. 2019 Ford Fusion Energi with modem replaced by dealer, and Oil Life Remaining appears to be working fine.
  2. Correct, the refresh is the same, but it doesn't refresh the data on FFE. It works on the Explorer. Also, EV data is working on FFE for me. I do not have ForScan.
  3. Glad to see all the data back. I thought the EV data was the only thing missing, but then realized it is now under Journeys. Does anyone know how to refresh the data? It only updates when I plug in the vehicle, and when it is fully charged. I would like to know what the charge is now. On my Explorer, if the data says it was from yesterday, I can refresh it. I try the same thing for FFE and it doesn't refresh. @Titanium Tom, I had the same issue at my dealership a month ago. They left the 4G modem installed, and everything worked without the update. They then called me a week or so ago that Ford fixed the issue, and I brought it in and they programmed it successfully.
  4. Huh. I would have never of guessed I had to look at the little text on the button icon to determine tire pressure status. LOL. On the Explorer, the icon says the same thing, but I click the button and it shows a similar picture that the car display shows, with the tire pressure of each tire. @jtex, understood, but I am using my 2019 Explorer as a point of reference. For three years I have never had an issue with FordPass and the Explorer. And it's not like I'm pulling data from it all the time like my other IOT devices e.g. cameras that have similar data flow and infrastructure, but even those I haven't had many issues. First thing I check is if I can refresh the Explorer in FordPass to make sure it is not a more broad issue with the system. The vehicles are sitting right next to each other, so the cell signal is the same. I'm just a little disappointed I'm having this experience already. FordPass and vehicle data, including PHEV data, is used all over the world, so I'm guessing it's not a broader issue or we would be hearing more about it elsewhere. I'm guessing I just have to deal with a PHEV in the US that is last on Ford's list to support since they don't make them anymore. That's okay, because I love the car. ?
  5. Thanks for the info. I'll wait it out. For the Tire Pressure Monitor, it doesn't give a status (before or after the other stuff went missing). Just says what to expect.
  6. Hi everyone. I just bought a 2019 Fusion Energi, and I absolutely love it! We kind of fell into it while test driving vehicles, and just before gas prices decided to spike, so it was perfect timing. I just wanted to tell you my modem experience. I have a 2019 Explorer with remote start, so I was already familiar with FordPass. When I connected the Fusion to FordPass, I knew right away something was amiss. After some googling, I quickly found out that Ford did a dumb thing and put a 3g modem in a 2019 vehicle. I called several dealerships with similar quotes, but only one knew right away what I was talking about, so I went with them. It was around $700. I took it in, and after a little while, they told me they installed the 4g modem, but they couldn't update the module. It was giving them a wrong part number error. They double checked the part, and it was the correct part. They ordered and installed another one thinking bad part, but the new modem gave same error. They kept the vehicle for a week so that they could work with Ford engineers, only to find out this was a known issue on some vehicles and that Ford was working on a fix. They gave me the car back with 4g modem installed, and said they would contact me when Ford has a fix. Later that day I received the car back, I was able to connect the Fusion to FordPass. Everything seemed to be working. Charging info, EV data, remote lock and unlock, etc. I let the dealership know it was working, and they said that was good news and they will let me know when the update arrives, and they will let me decide if I want to go ahead with the update. The only thing that seemed to be missing was the Tire Pressure info. It seems to want to display the info, but nothing shows up but text. I go on spring break, and when I get home, I noticed the charging notification was missing from the bottom of app, EV data was missing, and a couple of other things gone, but some things like lock and unlock was still there. This is Android device, and I noticed there was a software update to the app while I was gone. Then the dealership calls me back that Ford fixed the issue, so I took it in and it programmed correctly. But the app is still not functioning like it did before I left for spring break (before app update). I noticed in this thread that some users had same experience, but I see others still getting the data. Was there a fix? Do I need to re-add it to FordPass? I did not ask for hardware or software (before or after update) information on the 4g modem. Paperwork has the following for part number: VMU7Z*A00A25*C.
